Glosses are making a comeback and I find myself using more and more lip glosses rather than matte liquid lipsticks now. In this post, I will be reviewing ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip “Feedback.”

Application Tips:
Step One – Prime your lips with our Lippie Primer for increased longevity and smoother application!
Step Two – If you’d like you can apply your favourite Lippie Stix, Ultra Matte, or Ultra Satin before your gloss. This will give you a more full coverage look! If you prefer to skip that step, you can now apply your Ultra Glossy Lip!

My Experience with ColourPop Ultra Glossy Lip Feedback:

Packaging: This lip gloss comes in a pretty, standard clear tube with holographic writing on the side – ColourPop Ultra Glossy. The bottom of the tube specifies the shade name “Feedback.” The tube has a silver cap. The applicator type has changed for ColourPop lip glosses, from doe foot, now it’s a brush applicator. This applicator allows me to apply the lip gloss without disturbing the lipstick underneath. The product comes in a white cardboard box with the name of the product and the ingredients list.

Shade and Finish: The shade is described as a “watermelon with golden glitter” and it is a stunning watermelon pink color with tiny glitter in it. This lip gloss gives a beautiful, shiny look to the lips. This shade is suitable for fair to dark Indian skin tones, it’s a perfect everyday shade to wear. The finish of the lip gloss is ultra glossy and gives an illusion of plumper, fuller lips. It is extremely comfortable to wear.

Texture and Application: The texture of this lip color is highly glossy without the tackiness. The feel is like a glossy lip balm. These lip glosses are not sticky, they are super hydrating. The brush applicator helps with easy application. This is the most comfortable glossy lip color.

Pigmentation and Coverage: This product is of high shine finish, so it has sheer pigmentation with a lot of golden glitter in it. I can use this lip gloss as a lip topper underneath a lip liner or over a lipstick. It has a faint, chemical-kind of ascent, which I don’t really like.

Staying Power: The staying power is really good by the standards of a lip gloss. It stays on for around 3 hours without the need to reapply; however, it would start to fade if you eat or drink. However, this doesn’t bother me since I can reapply the gloss easily.
