Cool & Cool Deep Magnetic Cleansing Charcoal Nose Strip
After reading the Biore Nose Pore Cleansing Strips Review by Rati, I thought of doing a review on the nose strip that I use.
INR 59 for 1 strip.
Though on the box it says that it is “Also Available in Packs of 3 and 6 Strips,” till date, I haven’t found them in more than 1 strip pack.
On the Box:

What Do I Feel About Cool & Cool Deep Magnetic Cleansing Charcoal Nose Strip
White heads give me more trouble than black heads. How much ever I scrub my face, I was not able to get rid of them completely. I found Cool & Cool nose strips in a departmental store near my house and started using them. I usually use the Cool & Cool Deep Cleansing Nose Strips (the white one), which has been reviewed here by Anuya. It gives me satisfactory result, but I found this charcoal variant from the same Cool & Cool brand and instantly fell for the magical words like “magnetic cleansing,” and I guessed that it would pull off all white and black heads as a magnet would do.
After using the scrub on my face, I follow the steps mentioned on the box. You have to make sure to stick the strip snugly around the nose, especially at the curves and corners, where we tend to have more black/white heads. The white strip will be comparatively thin and would feel very tight on skin after 10 mins, but this one was a little thicker strip and didn’t feel so tight on the skin. So, I let it be there on my nose for about 20 mins.
Then, I slowly pulled it off starting from both the corners of the nose to the middle. Unlike the white one, it was not very painful. After removing the strip, it leaves some black residue on the nose, which can be removed with plain water. This one removed only the soft white heads and some fine hair along with that. The deep and hard white heads were not removed completely. I was not so happy about that, but my nose felt smoother after removing the strip.
I have a combination skin with oily T-zone with my nose getting oily soon. This controls that to an extent, but that’s just for 2 days though. From the third day, I started noticing more white heads than I would have :yikes:
Lets get down to what I like about this product and what I don’t.
What I Like About the Product
1. Makes my nose feel soft and smooth for a couple of days after use.
2. It removes some fine hair on my nose too.
3. Keeps my nose shine free for about 2 days.
4. Makes pores look less obvious.
What I Dislike About the Product
1. It does not remove the white/black heads completely.
2. I got more whiteheads in just 2-3 days.
3. May not suite sensitive skin due to the adhesive in it.
4. Its pricey for just one strip.
I liked the normal one better than this. It worked pretty well. I would any day prefer using that one to this until I find some other better working nose strip.
