I’m here with my first curler review 😀 Hope I do well 😛 This is my first Corioliss product. When I received my IMBB points, I decided to get a curler. So after a lot of thinking and research & torturing Neha with a zillion pictures (sorry! 😛 ), I finally bought this one. Read on to know about the awesomeness it serves!

My Experience with Corioliss Glamour Wand Platinum Zebra Hair Curler :

I was super excited to get a conical shaped curler because it helps in creating different kinds of curls thanks to the temperature variable and the shape. The only problem with a conical curler is that it has no protection around it so you can end up burning your fingers or ear while curling. Now let’s talk about my hair texture. I have dry-frizzy curly hair, actually I had wavy hair before but gradually the waves have started to turn into curls (I don’t know how!). Well anyway, the upper part of my hair is still wavy while the curls start going down.

This is why I decided to get a curler to style the upper part of my hair to get an even curly hair look. I’m a beginner at this, so it did take me half an hour only to style the left side of my hair (see picture). I didn’t go for ringlets just yet, but I did get loose curls that looked amazing. The temperature can be adjusted from 100° C to 190° C. I used the curler at around 150° C for the curls in the picture. It is a little time consuming to use but the results are totally worth it 😀 I’m in love with the curler’s look, it’s so hot I can’t stop looking at it 😛 The handle is long and lightweight so it can easily be used. Use a good heat protectant before using the curler so that it prevents from hair damage. The curler in short, is a very good buy and I’m glad I got it 😀

Flaws of Corioliss Glamour Wand Platinum Zebra Hair Curler :

• It might burn your ear or hand if not used carefully.
• I would’ve preferred a hand glove instead of a finger glove.
• Very high temperatures may burn your hair.
• It takes a lot of time and practice to master using it.
• Price varies in stores.

Conclusion :
The two main features of this curler are – temperature control and the conical shape. These two help in creating different curls which is a bonus point because you get all you want in one product, be it tight curls or loose waves. Read the strengths of this curler and you will know why I am giving you the green signal to get it 😀

OMG yes!

I’m hoping it will last a very long time 😛

Tips :
Always invest in a nice & dependable heat protectant serum/spray before using a heat tool. I use the L’Oreal Paris Studio Line Hot & Smooth Hot Straight Cream & sometimes the Organix Hydrating Macadamia Oil Penetrating Oil.
NEVER use heating tools on wet/damp hair. Blow dry/Air dry your hair before curling if you are in a hurry. I use the Philips HP8659 KeraShine Essential Care Air Straightener.
Use the curler carefully so you don’t end up burning your ear or fingers.
