Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Waterproof Mascara Very Black
I tried this particular Mascara around last year from a friend’s vanity and since then it was on my wish list. I tried to purchase this online, pestered so many of my friends who travel abroad to get this for me but some how I couldn’t get my hands on this :((

My Verdict on the Mascara
If you ask me just one US Drugstore brand which I would like to see in India, it has to be “Cover girl”. Whatever I have tried from this brand till date has not failed to impress me be it their lipsticks, foundation or their best seller, “the volume blast mascaras”
While I am a big fan of L’Oreal Volume million Mascara, I wanted a mascara for day wear as the L’Oreal one gets a little too dramatic for routine/day wear.
I am quite happy with the results of this cover girl lash blast mascara. Infact my girl friends always end up asking me if I am wearing false lashes when I have this on 😛
I have sparse lashes which lack volume and length both. This mascara thickens my lashes/adds volume and slightly improves length too. But still, I would consider it a volumising mascara more than a lengthening one. Also, I need to use a lash curler with this as it does not curl up the lashes well. But once curled, this mascara does hold the curls for like whole day !
The mascara formula is soft, creamy, jet black and a quick drying one, which does not clump till the time I apply upto 3-4 coats but if I go beyond that, it does! (Actually its not recommended to go beyond 2/3 coats of mascara, its just that we need to apply it properly). Also, the mascara does not flake / smear off even after a whole day of wear.
I like the bright orange/tangerine, stubby packaging of the mascara and the thick brush is definitely a winner. It has stiff, spiky bristles which comb & separate the lashes well, coat them with mascara properly and avoid clumps. However, the thick brush is not really great for the lower lashes. Another thing I like about the packaging is that it comes with a screw off cap. I always wash and store its mascara brush separately. I think it’s a great idea, as it reduces the risk of contamination.
The mascara is greatly water proof and comes out completely only with a makeup remover. Now, I am not a big fan of water proof mascaras but those of you who tend to splash their eyes often with water will definitely like this.
Overall, I am very fond of this mascara and I would definitely re purchase. If your lashes need more volume than length (Or both 😛 like me) do give this a shot .

I use this mascara which I got from USA. It is really awesome. You dont have to work hard, just one brush on your lashes it gives beautiful output. :yes:

Great review! Hey btw did u know CoverGirl and MaxFactor are the same company? So the same mascara formula will 100% be available in Maxfactor ipunder some other name.. In fact in US maxfactor is slowly going to be phased out.. Only CoverGirl will continue.
