I recently reviewed the shade “Deep Mauve” from the Covergirl TruBlend Blush and had quite liked it. Today, I am reviewing another shade from the same range – “Medium Rose.” Read on to find out if this shade was as good as the other or was it a no-go.

My Experience with Covergirl Medium Rose TruBlend Blush:
Packaging: The blush comes in a simple white plastic case with a transparent lid. The lid shuts tight and there is no danger of the blush opening accidentally even if you toss it in your bag. There is some pretty mauve-pink detailing on the packaging which makes it look attractive. The blush itself is dome shaped and has a marbled appearance.
Color and Pigmentation: “Medium Rose” is a pale pink shade. It appears slightly darker in the pan but looks quite light and frosty when swatched. It hardly shows up on my face but might on someone with a lighter skin tone.
This blush is not very strongly pigmented and multiple swipes are needed to pick up some color on the brush and then, when you swipe it multiple times, there is a lot of product fallout.
Texture/Finish/Lasting Power: The texture of the blush is soft and silky. It is easy to blend. The finish is satiny but slightly frosty and will not suit someone with warm skin tone.
Since the blush hardly shows up on my skin, I have not really worn this outside of my home. When worn for testing purposes, I have noticed that it lasts for about 3-4 hours before starting to fade away.
Pros of Covergirl Medium Rose TruBlend Blush:
- Good soft texture.
- Easily blendable.
Cons of Covergirl Medium Rose TruBlend Blush:
- This shade hardly shows up on medium skin tones.
- Frosty finish.
- Poorly pigmented.
- Average staying power.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Covergirl Medium Rose TruBlend Blush?
This particular shade of the blush was a total miss for me and hence I would not recommend. I will not repurchase it either.
