My Experience with Dr Organic Activated Charcoal Face Mask:

The mask comes in a stubby tube with a transparent cap. There is a lot of information on the back of the tube. The product comes unsealed so, make sure to pick the product from behind the shelf. There is no leakage or mess when using the product and this makes the product a perfect companion for travelling. Both the mask and the scrub look alike and I wish, they make a little change to the package so that, they could stand out and I don’t have to get confused, when I use it!

The mask is greyish-green in color and has a creamy consistency. The product is semi-thick and it dispenses well from the tube. The mask has very minute granules that fade away when applying and you can hardly feel it on the skin. The smell is okay, nothing great and feels fresh.

The mask has to be applied on cleansed or exfoliated face. The application is very easy. The kaolin, which is the main ingredient in the mask smoothens the process of application. Due to the presence of kaolin, this mask can be a great addition to the combination/ oily skin face routine. The mask takes around 10 minutes to dry and after which, you can use a damp cloth or use water to remove the remaining mask off the face. Once dried, the mask looks ashy! It creates a mess and I would recommend a good face cloth to remove the residue. The mask doesn’t cause any irritation or redness. However, due to the presence of natural ingredients, it kind of tingles when applied on the skin, but this is short-lived.

The mask is mainly made for urban areas, where there is a lot of pollution that causes a lot of dirt on the skin. The mask effectively removes all the dirt and oil from the skin and makes the skin appear squeaky clean. It cleanses the face from within and minimizes the pores. The mask controls oil on the face to a certain extent. The product doesn’t cause any breakouts and instead, it reduces the occurrence of any pimples. The product makes the skin look healthy and adds a glow onto the face. The mask makes the skin very soft and smooth. The product claims to reduce any pigmentation and over the period of time, it does lighten the tone. The results last longer period and is free from paraben or silicones and is cruelty-free.
