Oriflame Concealers – Part Two + ELF Concealer Review
- Oriflame absolute concealer for eyes in pink and gold shades
- Oriflame beauty dual skin corrector in medium and dark shades
- ELF tone correcting concealers in light and medium shade
Having reviewed some concealers from Oriflame already, I will review here all the remaining that I have.

Two of these are cream concealers for eyes and the rest are regular stick ones. The remaining are tone correcting concealers from ELF that I quite like.so here we go:

Oriflame Beauty Absolute Concealer for Eyes:Price 198 rs for 10 ml

These are cream concealers that are very light in texture and super blendable. These are available in two shades gold and pink. Unfortunately, we will have to mix and match these with some other products to get the right tone but the unique part of these concealers are that they have very fine light reflecting shimmer in them and once they blend they work as highlighter for the eyes. Considering the size of the tube, u need a way too much for under eyes and blend well. Then we can dab some loose powder to set and good to go. The pink shade I feel blends better on my skin where as the gold one has more light reflecting shimmer.these go on very light on the skin and disappear in seconds. We can use it as face concealer as well. Frankly, this has no stayin power and has minimum coverage.

How I use it:
I mix is with regular concealer and foundation to give a highlight to the skin
I use it as cheek bone highlighter which is relatively lighter in tone than under eye skin. The mild shimmer gives it highlighting properties.we can highlight the cupid’s bow with as well.
We can mix this with regular moisturiser if we want to skip foundation, for that luminous glow.
The consistency of the concealer is almost like a gel and specially meant for under eyes. But because of its multiple uses, I picked up both the shades. It gets a :-*:-*:-* as rating because of its usability. Totally recommend this to very fair skinned people. It may melt with heat on the skin so setting it with powder is important.

Oriflame beauty dual skin corrector: Price Rs 229 for 1.6 gram

Description: 2 in 1 stick concealer that provides instant coverage and camouflage whilst clearing up breakouts and blemishes. Contains tea tree oil vitamin e, bisabolol and allantoin.

These offer three shades namely light, medium and dark. I have the medium and the dark one and mixing these gives me perfect coverage.

These have a dual core where the outside has colour and the inner core is thin and creamy whitish in colour supposed to deliver properties to cure any blemishes. The concealers are super creamy and blend to a powdery finish. So I recommend these to oily skin club. Dab some loose powder on top and it will set well. These can also double as eye shadow base as well as lipstick base. You can also dab some of this on the lips centre to lighten a dark shade of lipstick. If you are not careful with the shade and blending it may appear patchy and chalky.

A nice product to have in case u don’t have a creamy stick concealer. It did not aggravate acne and pimples are all I can say. Will last for four to five hours if u don’t rub it off.

Elf Tone Correcting Concealer:

Price Rs 149 (when I purchased these) these are liquid concealers and are super blendable. The skin literally drinks it and setting with powder gives perfect results for undereyes.it comes with a gloss like sponge applicator. The shades on offer are light medium and dark and I have the light and the medium one.

The mix of the two is perfect for my under eye skin. the medium one is a little dark for me and the light one goes well on days that I wear foundation. On other days I just use the two together when I don’t wear foundation of any form. I feel they have the right shades for Indian skin tones and these blend well. These can be safely worn alone without bothering about the patchiness. These may melt in three hours if ur skin is oily and exposed to heat. I use them for under eyes but these cover up blemishes well too. I don’t know about breaking out as I avoid clogging pores with gunk being on the acne prone side☹ please pick one up if you have elf products available where you stay.(light for tone 1, medium for tone 2 and dark for tone 3)they also have pressed powder which matches these perfectly according to tone. So tone 2 pressed powder will go best with the medium concealer and using the concealer and the pressed powder in the same shade will be just enough for everyday coverage. The quantity required is average (wont say less). Considering these concealers are 1 $ in US makes it difficult for me to pick up elf products. The price for these may have already increased in India. 🙁
Rating :-* :-*:-*:-*
The part one and part two covers five types of concealers Oriflame offers. Hope you would be able to make a right choice for concealer according to your skin tone and texture of the concealer you like. Apart from that, I totally recommend elf concealers for light to medium everyday coverage.
Have you used concealer from ELF and Oriflame?

I really donțt like the Oriflame liquid one. Honestly, it hurts my eyes and they start tearing when I apply it under my eyes and it is not powerful enough to cover my dark circles…
Instead, I really like the elf ones, especially the ones from the mineral line, the double one with the highlighter
But nice review and good collection! :rose:

The liuid ELF concealers look superb !! Can anyone tell me where to get ELF in mumbai?
Wonderful roundup of concealers Neha. I’ve been on the look out for reasonably priced concealers for ages. Maybe I should just try these. It’s just that I’ve bought from oriflame before & I wasn’t quite convinced about the quality. But the dual skin corrector sounds good. Wish elf was available in Chennai.
I didn’t comment on your previous lipstick review coz my comp kept shutting down. But you had mentioned me by name (i used to comment on IMBB under the name ‘Ame’. But for a couple of months now, I’ve been commenting under the name Poohkie because that’s what I use on my blog). I just wanted to thank you for that. And don’t worry, no matter how many lippies you buy, I still won’t doubt your sanity 😀
oh thanks ame/pookhie
