ELF Ex-tra Lip Gloss – Michael
Hey Girls,
Hope you all are doing great. Well there is something about the word Ex which makes some people excited, while other get sad. However today I am reviewing a lip gloss from elf which is a tribute to the Exs 😛 the concept of this lip gloss is, it will make your lips look so good that your Ex will want you back 😉 sounds fun !! hehe 😀 These elf Ex-tra lip glosses are named after boys. I have got few of them, And today we are going to talk about Michael. Anyone with an Ex named Michael?? (I wish they would have launched these in India with Indian guy names, that would have been so much fun 😛 )
Price: $2
Product Claims:This ultra-smooth, rich colored gloss is loaded with extra ingredients to moisturize and condition. Create lips so gorgeous, they’ll have your exes wanting you back! Enriched with Vitamins A&E, Cocoa Butter, Sunflower, Avocado, and Grape to nourish and protect the lips. The unique applicator shape applies precise color for a perfectly pouty look.
My Experience with ELF Ex-tra Lip Gloss – Michael:
Michal is medium tone berry shade which compliments Indian skin tone well. Out of the whole lot Michael has the least to no shimmer. It has a pearly finish which adds needed shine to lips without looking too shimmery. This is one shade which all berry lovers will love to wear, its neither too blue nor too red, its perfect berry shade. The formula is very opaque; it covers my pigmented lips in one application only. It feels moisturizing on lips but it is non-sticky which a plus is. However it does not feel completely weightless on lips. It has sweet vanilla scent to it which is not at all overwhelming.
Talking of lasting powder, it is not at all long lasting. It does not survive a meal, without eating it lasts only for 2-3 hours. But if reapplication is not an issue for you then it’s not a big problem. Talking of its wand, it is bit different than the regular slant gloss applicator wands. The applicator is thin and long, it feels like some smooth material which bends easily for application. At one go, adequate amount of product comes out for one application, so no dipping of wand multiple times is required.
For the cost the product quantity is also good. It is moisturizing and gives lips nice color with the needed shine. So if you want to use a good quality berry shade lip gloss within a tight budget then look no further than for Michael..
Pros of ELF Ex-tra Lip Gloss – Michael:
• Nice berry shade, which compliments Indian skin tone.
• Opaque formula covers pigmented lips in one application.
• Moisturizing.
• Non sticky.
• Sweet vanilla smell.
• Inexpensive.
Cons of ELF Ex-tra Lip Gloss – Michael:
• Poor staying power.
• Not easily available in India.
IMBB Rating: 3.9/5
