We all know that Elle 18 is one of the coolest brands for newbies and college goers since the brand has fun stuff, bright coloured packaging and are affordable as well! A while back I saw this kajal on an online-portal with a water-resistant claim and this looked pretty cool for daily use. I wanted to try this out since the liquid one from them works really well. See how this worked for me.

My Experience with Elle 18 Black Out! Water-Resistant Kajal:
Packaging: The kajal comes in a crayon style packaging in hot pink and black which makes it look super cute. It is very tiny and sleek hence very handy. It has a transparent cap which remains tightly closed. It has a nice smooth tip which lets proper application of the kajal but sharpening it up is a big-time mess. It does not come with a sharpener, so we need to buy one to sharpen it. The price tag is really cool which is targeted mainly for college-goers who are on a budget or pocket money.
Shade, pigmentation and feel on the eyes: The shade is a deep black colour which looks extremely black when I swipe it 2-3 times to build up the intensity. In one swipe, it does show a black colour but a sober one but 2-3 swipes make it eye catching and very noticeable. The pigmentation is great in the first swipe itself. It has a creamy texture which looks hard but goes creamy on my waterline. It does not irritate my eyes but I think it is not suitable for very sensitive eyes.
Results: The kajal looked very promising but I would say it is not completely water-resistant. My eyes become watery very soon since it is sensitive and the water does make the kajal vanish very quickly. The kajal lasts for a limited time but I cannot say that it totally disappointed me because you get what you pay. It lasted for 1 hour on my waterline and 2-3 hours on my eyelids. It does smudge on its own with time and also if you touch your eyes constantly. Overall, good for a beginner but not that great either!

Cons of Elle 18 Black Out! Water-Resistant Kajal:

Will I Repurchase/Recommend Elle 18 Black Out! Water-Resistant Kajal?
No I wouldn’t! Rather I would recommend the liquid liner from them which works 5 times better than this one.
Conclusion: Eye products from them are pretty okay. Waiting to try the matte lipsticks from them.
