Here, I am going to review about their Play 101 Stick range. The brand has launched their Play 101 Sticks for the foundation, contour, oil balm, blending pencil, etc. Read on to know more about Etude House Play stick 101 – 14.

My Experience with Etude House Play 101 Stick – 14:
I bought this product because the color and the packaging were elegant and at the same time, they were screaming cute! The product comes packaged in an outer carton and the product in itself is a chubby stick. The lower part of the stick and the letters are color-coded, and the rest of the package is dark gray matte finish. The product comes with a cap of the same texture, which is secure enough to be taken through long journeys in the confines of our heavily loaded handbags.
The product itself is creamy in nature. It glides gently on the skin and the lips. It can be used as lipstick, a cream blusher or a creamy eye shadow. All-in-one is the main concept behind this product.
As a lipstick, it is definitely hard to apply directly using the stick. The stick is too wide to get a precise application that we need. Using a lip brush, the product is easy to apply. It is heavily pigmented and covers any pigmentation on the lips smoothly. I let it dry for a few minutes because it tends to stay better when dried for a while. The product transfers a bit. But doesn’t smudge or fade. It stays good for about 6 hours without any reapplication. After 6 hours, you could see that the whole product is fading, and not just from the corners of the lips. So, as a lipstick, I liked it.
As a blush or eye shadow, I used my hands to apply. I applied a bit of product on my hands, and using my fingers, patted it on to cheeks and on eyelids. On patting, the product gives a faint glow, and it stays longer than as a lipstick. I liked it better as eye shadow/ blush. The color was neither overly bright nor plain dull. It enhanced the overall face.
Pros of Etude House Play 101 Stick – 14:

• Works fantastically as a lipstick/blush/eye shadow
• Stays long and fades evenly after some 5-6 hours
• Great pigmentation
• Creamy texture
• Doesn’t show up on dry patches
Cons of Etude House Play 101 Stick – 14:
• Staying power could have been longer
• It transfers a bit
• The shape of the product is not useful when you want to apply it directly as lipstick. The top of the product comes flat and it is very wide
• Cost. Though you get 7.5g of product compared to the usual lipsticks with 3gm or less, the cost is still a factor

Yes. There are so many different colors and variety of products in the same range and I want to try them all if I can!
