Fabindia Charcoal Face Pack
Hello Beauties!!

Today I will be reviewing Fabindia’s Charcoal face pack. This is a new product from their skincare range.
Product Description:
Charcoal is known for its ability to absorb impurities. This pack containing charcoal uses multani mitti as its base. It absorbs oil and dirt from the pores, leaving skin cleaner and healthier.

Price:
INR 250 for 100ml
Expiry date:
3 years from the date of manufacturing.
Directions for use:
Avoiding the eye area, apply the pack and leave on for 10 minutes. Rinse with cold water and pat dry
My experience with Fabindia Charcoal Face Pack:
The moment I saw this product on Fabindia’s Shelf, I jumped and grabbed it in an instant. I knew I had to buy it. I never owned any product containing activated charcoal. I am sure most of you know that charcoal acts like a magnet to draw out deep-dwelling impurities.
The product comes in a round plastic jar. Honestly I really like the packaging (this was another reason I bought this product), somehow the colors make this product very promising. When you open the jar there is a strong whiff of fresh fragrance. I think it smells like lemongrass and I truly love the smell.
Talking about its performance, the first time I used it on my un-washed skin. I wanted to check whether charcoal actually stands up to its claims. So after coming back from office I applied it directly on my un-washed skin and boy you would not believe it left my skin squeaky clean, like literally clean and clear. I even tested it after, by using cleansing milk to see whether my skin was still dirty, but not even a speckle of dirt. Since then I have used it like that only. It gives a nice glow in an instant.
After application, the product gives a cool tingling effect to the skin, which some may not like but it stays only for 2-3 minutes. It has got the perfect texture, not too thick or too runny. It glides on the skin very smoothly. And the best about this pack is that it dries out soooo quickly, at max in 5-6 minutes. But I keep it on for atleast 10 minutes as suggested by the company.
A little bit about Charcoal’s benefits:
Activated charcoal is made from charred wood or vegetable matter that has been treated or processed into tiny particles to make it extremely porous. The extremely fine particles have the ability to absorb many chemicals and impurities from skin. Charcoal absorbs the toxin trapped right under the skin but also clears even the bacteria as well as deep-seated microscopic grime.
Overall this is a satisfctory product and I am totally in love with this product and would suggest everybody to give it a try!!
Pros of Fabindia Charcoal Face Pack:
• Cleans the skin very effectively
• Stands up to its claims
• Nice fresh fragrance
• Gives a nice instant glow
• Dries out very quickly
• Easily available.
Cons of Fabindia Charcoal Face Pack:
• Conatins SLES and parabens
• Leaves skin a bit dry and tight after washing
• Gives a tingling effect (not really a con for some)
• Available only in one size

4/5
