I am here with a review of the Faces Glam On Eye Shadow Duo.

Talc, Mica, Kaolin, Zinc Sterate, Methyl Paraben, Bismuth Oxychloride, Phenyl trimethicone.

My Experience with Faces Canada Glam On Eye Shadow Duo – Amethyst:

Amethyst is a duo with shades of pink and yellowish brown.  There are other colour variants available.

• Mystic Blue.
• Forest Mauve.
• Smoky Look.
• Pink Orchid.

The duo come in a black case which is compact and nice looking. It’s an easy to carry case with a mirror. A small double-sided applicator brush is included.

The colour in the pan looks brownish and pale yellow under natural light, but they are totally different shades.

Coming to the texture, it is a powdery eye shadow which is not coarse. I would define it as a smooth/soft powder and it blends very easily. It has shimmers in it, but they are not very heavy.  Now, with regard to the colour pigmentation, it is not very great. Its sort of medium pigmented and in 2-3 strokes I get the desired look. One may have to use a base cream to get an intense colour, but the staying power is pretty good.  As I have already mentioned in my previous reviews, I leave for work at 6:30 in the morning and the colour stays without much fade out till 1 or 2 in the afternoon, true to its claim! So, you can count the staying power close to 6-7 hours.

I have used the pink eye shadow plenty of times for office wear since it gives such a subtle look. I just love it, but I have used the brown one less because it looks weird on me.

It is nowhere mentioned that the product is dermatologically tested, but I find it safe to use on the sensitive part of the face.  Overall, it’s a good product, worth the money spent. I am eyeing the smoky look duo and would pick it very soon.

• Colour pigmentation is not that great.

Will I Repurchase Faces Canada Glam On Eye Shadow Duo – Amethyst?

Yes, though I would try the other colour duos.
