I have got a lot of lipsticks from this range recently as these looked very appealing to me! This is by far the best packaging that Faces offers. It looks classy and attractive. The shade I picked to review today is Dress Up. Isn’t it a very cute name? Scroll down for further review and swatches.

My Experience with Faces Dress Up Glam On Color Perfect Lipstick:

The Faces Glam On range is very nicely innovated as far as the packaging is concerned. These lipsticks look extremely classy in transparent, rectangular packaging with black and gold inside. It is very handy and super convenient to use. I picked up a lot of shades from this range and noticed that most of the shades are intensely pigmented and the colours are mostly on the bolder side. The shades range from corals to pinks which the younger generation can wear and also consists of mature shades like browns and purples. This shade is a deep coral colour with pink hints. I loved how this differentiates itself from the usual fresh coral shade.

It is a very stunning coral, but on the darker side. The moment I apply it, my face starts glowing and it makes my skin-tone appear fairer than usual. It creates an immediate pop on my lips and it is great to pair up with light makeup. It is totally a versatile shade that anyone can pick up be it younger generation or the mature one. This shade is wearable for days with light makeup and even for night-time with smokey eyes . What I really like about this shade is that it will suit Indian skin tones perfectly and most of the shades from this range complement our skin tone.

I feel this shade makes me look more mature and I would reserve it for some traditional occasions where I would be dressed up in traditional clothes and will want to look a little older. The texture is buttery soft and glides on super easily on the lips. Just one swipe and there is a dark coral pink colour on your lips. Due to the intense pigmentation, it settles a little into the fine lines and that can be noted when you remove the lip colour with a makeup remover. The colour looks glossy at first but then settles into a matte finish with a little glossy sheen. It stays as it is for 4 hours which is great according to the price if you don’t have any meals.

The Lady in Red variant stayed for more time as compared to this one because it was bolder. Hence, I could reckon one thing that the bolder the shade, the more it stays. It also survives light meals, but the intensity of the colour reduces. All the shades of this range transfer a lot on glasses and tissues. Also, it might bleed a little from the corners of the lips, so I need to be careful with that. But, these cons can be accepted because the finish, the quality, the staying power and the shade, everything is just so amazing. Total thumbs up for this one!

• Transfers a lot on glasses
• Will not survive full meals
• Half of the colour will go away if you eat something and you will have uneven colour patches on the lips

Yes, totally! It is a very versatile shade that will suit all skin tones as well as all the age groups. It is not a daily wear shade, it makes you look different on your special occasions, a perfect name for the shade. A must try!
