There are some days when we do not feel like going through the whole “shampoo-conditioning” process and for such days, I have products such as Garnier Fructis Grow Strong 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner. I have had really good experience with the “Fructis” range from Garnier, so was expecting good results from this one as well, but check out whether this Grow Strong version lived up to my expectations or not.

My Experience with Garnier Fructis Grow Strong 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner:
This shampoo-cum-conditioner comes in a very big sea green-coloured bottle with all the details written over. It is a long sleek bottle with huge quantity. Although the bottle is a sleek one, it is not at all travel-friendly because it is huge and heavy. It is a nice concept for 2-in-1 product as well and the cost is fine as well.
This shampoo-cum-conditioner is white in colour with runny consistency. Just a little quantity is required to wash the hair. It smells pretty nice too. The scent does last for the entire day but it’s not as strong as you can smell it when you wash your hair. It lathers very well in my hair even when diluted with water. It does not irritate my scalp at all.
I thought my hair wouldn’t need any more conditioning with this product, but later on, after rinsing, my hair looked like a disaster. It became really hard after drying. I couldn’t comb my tresses well. It was greasy as well and all these things were certainly not expected. It also weighed down my hair and made my hair look thin and flat. I did not like how this product treated my hair and it certainly didn’t live up to my expectations at all. A total skip ☹

- Not travel-friendly.
- Makes hair greasy.
- Weighs down my hair.
- Makes hair rough.
- Does not make hair smooth or silky.
- Limited availability in India.
Would I Repurchase/Recommend Garnier Fructis Grow Strong 2-in-1 Shampoo and Conditioner?
No, neither would I get it again nor would I recommend it. They make a lot better hair products, so try those and skip this one completely! This was the first fail from Fructis for my hair-type, the rest of the products have worked really well.
