I recently got to use a new shampoo from Garnier’s Ultra Doux range; I have already reviewed another variant from this range. Though that shampoo was not upto the mark, the conditioner impressed me really well. So, let us see if this shampoo is worth a vouch.
In its new recipe to care for dry hair Ultra Doux has combined two precious oils with known benefits to offer intense and sensational nutrition to your hair. Argan oil: used in beauty rituals by women of the Mediterranean, it is known for its highly nutritious and protective power. Camelia oil: extracted from a flower of incomparable elegance and sensual fragrance, its oil gives shine and softness.
Immediately, your hair is nourished from its roots to the tips to regain its flexibility
and softness. The hair is shiny again and easier to style. It shines with beauty.
My Experience with Garnier Ultra Doux The Marvelous Shampoo:
Let me start with the packaging, The Marvelous Shampoo has got a marvelous look to it. I fell in love with it at first sight. It has an orange colored sleek body with a golden, leaf imprinted cap on it. The semi-transparent bottle lets you easily assess the level of shampoo too. I had thought that the color of the bottle is due to the color of the shampoo, but I was wrong. This shampoo is transparent, just like a ‘clean and clear face wash’ with a totally new fragrance to me.
It is prescribed on the bottle that it is for dry and dull hair. So I really wanted to give it a try to know if it will really succeed in this regard. There was not even a single drop of oil on my hair or scalp almost for a week, so that I decided to get the maximum out of it. To be honest, I didn’t expect much from the shampoo as my experience with this range wasn’t really pleasant. I took the shampoo two times to cover my short-medium hair, and that made it foam up nicely.
It foamed up so fast (all thanks to the SLS :P) that no extra efforts were required. After rinsing it off, I air dried my hair, and tada…the results were awesome!!!!! I got soft, shiny, silky and manageable hair with just a shampoo. I loved its performance and I highly recommend it to all the lazy girls like me. I would obviously love to try out the conditioner from this range that claims to detangle hair.
Pros of Garnier Ultra Doux The Marvelous Shampoo:
• True to its claims
• The “marvelous” packaging
• No parabens
• Claims to contain natural extracts of camellia and argan oils
• Pocket friendly
Cons of Garnier Ultra Doux The Marvelous Shampoo:
• Contains SLS
• It claims to give “a deliciously delightful floral fragrance” but I was not able to sense it
See you soon, ladies. Till then Garnier…take care! 😀
