Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer #6
Product Purchased by IMBB
Yes, back with a Giorgio Armani gift from IMBB. I had reviewed Fluid Sheer in shade #4 earlier. If you remember I had mentioned that this is a unique product line from Giorgio Armani. The product line is interestingly different since there is a great shade variation – so depending on the shade you pick, you could be using a highlighter, a bronzer or a blush.
The product I reviewed for you earlier #4 was a highlighter (and a bit of colour corrector). However, #6 is through and through a Blush. Let us find out more about this product and shade.
Fluid sheer dresses skin in an illuminating veil of radiance. This unique, translucent formula is available in a range of versatile hues including makeup base shades, correcting shades, and radiance boosting shades. Blend your favorite fluid sheer with foundation to add radiance, polish and sculpting definition to your complexion. Or use it alone as a makeup base. All skin types.
- perfects, sculpts and illuminates skin
- complete and versatile shade range
- doubles as eye shadow base, blush or bronzer
- sheer, lightweight texture and coverage
Application techniques: Apply with the blender brush to wear alone or mixed with foundation for a boost of radiance and color. Use on top of foundation for added highlighting and contouring. Won InStyle’s “Best 2012 Highlighter” for the 3rd year.
Price – USD $62 / GBP 35.50– about INR 3550 for 30ml
Packaging: The product comes in a thick glass bottle with the GA logo displayed on the cap middle. As with the GA lippies, the bottle is inversely elliptical in shape. The product gets dispensed through a pump. The product comes packaged in a typical Armani black cardboard box. Classy and hygienic packaging.
My experience with Giorgio Armani – Fluid Sheer – 06:
Shade / Color: The shade is a gorgeous coral with vibrant peach and golden micro-shimmer. It is just absolutely fabulously GORGEOUS!!!! In the bottle, it looks more muted, but look at the drop of product, the colour is fantastic reddish coral. Once sheered out, it looks more peachy coral. The shimmer is very very fine. So there is no accentuation of pores. The shimmer doesn’t translate into disco ball or even a sheen. It looks more like a glow on the face as if you have healthy flushed cheeks. Universally flattering and something which can work with a wide variety of lip colours. I am so happy I got this. This can be as universal a shade as NARS Big “O”.
I felt it was kind of difficult to go overboard with the colour as it can be sheered out and blended easily. It blends so beautifully that looks just like second skin. You cannot make out where the blush started and where it ended! And since its liquid, even if you feel you have gone a little heavy, you can always stipple a little foundation on top to correct it.
The product comes in a pump up bottle, one light pump – one drop of product is sufficient for both cheeks as a little goes a long way. I don’t think I’ll use up this bottle in this lifetime. The product gives you plenty of time to work with – it stays liquid for about a minute or so and then it sets and will not budge. It stays put the whole day – I tested it for about 9 hours and it was still there, there was absolutely no fading. It felt almost like a stain. However, since it gives you enough time to work before it sets, it provides waaaaaay better final effect than other stains.
Pros of Giorgio Armani – Fluid Sheer – 06:
1. Gorgeous Color
2. Universally flattering
3. Easily blendable.
4. Gives natural, lit from within glow along with the blush hue
5. You cannot go overboard with the shade 6. Comes in a luxe packaging
7. Extremely long-lasting – even with my oily skin
8. The color works well even for office wear
9. The shimmer is extremely fine – does not accentuate the pores – Gives a beautiful natural looking glow.
10. Did not break me out
Cons of Giorgio Armani – Fluid Sheer – 06:
IMBB Rating – 6/5
If you love blushes, you HAVE to get this!! This could be the one blush you could use with pretty much all shades of lippies. And the fact that it is so effortlessly beautiful, just adds to the fun. Thanks IMBB for this gift! I am truly loving it! Have been using it pretty much every day since I first tried it.

Hello Kulpreet….thanks for getting us introduced to this wonderful blush….its so awesome…the color is so perfect and the little gold tinge makes it look so healthy cheeky kinda feel….u know wat i mean..rite? it looks lovely on u….
i wanna lay my hands on a cream blush…used only powders till date…pls advise which one should i go for…more budget friendly pls…..
Hey Anuradha! Thanks for such lovely words!
For cream blush I would recommend Chanel n second choice would be YSL. Chanel is about 2300 n YSL about 2100 or so. They both may not be verrry budget friendly but quality is excellent and a little goes a long way. Honestly, I tried Revlon cream blush but was disappointed with the product. So even though I spent 650 only, it was 650 down the drain. I’d tell you to blindly pick Chanel… You will love it and enjoy the money spent.
thanks Kulpreet….m gonna go for Chanel on your recco…afterall u r the high-end makeup queen at IMBB…
Will do my research on these blushes here and hit the counter soon…
