IMBB $300 International Eye Makeup Queen Contest: Entry 6

Hi All, Please Welcome Yusra as our sixth entry in our ‘IMBB $300 International Eye Makeup Queen Contest
Hi everyone,

This is the first time I’m posting a tutorial of any sort. It is a universally flattering look for any skin-tone and you can minus a few steps [eg. eyeliner or kajal] to make it a ‘Day’ Look.
final look
I hope everyone reading this finds this tutorial easy to understand and I hope you like the end result. Now, lets move on to the step by step method to achieving this golden/bronze look.

Step 1: After Applying a face primer and my foundation I primed my lids with an eye primer which will help the eye shadow to stick to the eye and make it stay on longer throughout the hot and humid summer season.

Step 2: Apply a pearlescent, shimmery cream coloured eyeshadow or eye pencil to the inner corners of your eyes. This will open up your eyes and make them appear more radiant.

Step 3: Apply a gold coloured eye shadow on your eyelids. Don’t worry about applying it too precisely or neatly. Any harsh lines will be blended out with a brush later.

Step 4: Use a bronze colour on the crease of your eyes. Use a back and forth motion with your brush to apply the crease colour.

Step 5: Take a dark brown colour and apply it to the outer corner of your eyes. You can even bring it down to your lower lash line to make it more dramatic.

Step 6: Use a light, nude colour and apply it to your brow brone, right under your brows. Use a blending brush and gently blur out any harsh lines where the different colours meet. Make sure to use very light strokes otherwise the colours will mix and start to look muddy. We don’t want that.

Step 7: Line your upper lash-line with an eye-liner. You can make the line thicker or thinner depending upon your liking.

Step 8: Line your inner lash line with a waterproof kajal.

Step 9: Curl your lashes and apply two coats of your favourite mascara.

…And you’re done.
