Vini’s 100th Post on IMBB 🙂
Hello Wonderful People,
This is my 100th post on IMBB and I’m super excited about it. I have always got positive response from all of you, kisses and a big thank you to IMBB team; Jomol and Rati have always been supportive and motivating me. My journey so far has been good. I started following IMBB in 2010 and wrote my first post in 2012. What took me so long to write my first post was to do something creative with pictures, review and swatches. The level of IMBB got raised every year and the updated version of IMBB comes up with lots of good things and that makes IMBB stand different from other beauty and fashion blogs. In real, we are the writers, we are the builders of our blog, the way we present every post makes the blog hit or flop. So, from now on, I have decided to do more LOTD’s, NOTD’s and OOTD’s because of the responses I have previously received on my previous posts. A big thank you to everyone!! You people have always been so kind in commenting and complimenting me. Coming to today’s post, I decided to do a lipstick review for my 100th post as I always get lots of good comments on my lipstick review. I am going to review a lipstick from Inglot. As you all know, summer is officially over and it’s time to stock up all fall products and when it comes to lipsticks – berry, cranberry and all darker shades are hot this season, so I picked up a shade from the winter collection. Here’s more about it 🙂
Matte moisturising formula with Vitamin E. Avocado oil, macadamia oil.Solid and elegant metal case. Paraben free formula. Not tested on animals.
My Experience with Inglot Lipstick – 409:
This lipstick comes in an elegant black metallic case. The shade #409 is a deep berry red shade (deep ruby kind of), perfect for the fall season, a must-have shade in every girl’s stack.
The best part about the shades that have a hint of berry is that they go well with all skin tones – from fair to dark skin tones. The lipstick is from the matte range and some of you may find it hard to apply without a lip balm. I suggest that you apply a lip balm over it so that it gives you more of glossy look and feels smooth. The matte part of the lipstick makes it a big “no no” to those beauties who have dry and chapped lips. But you can apply Vaseline first and then swipe on the lipstick, follow it up with a balm; this trick will surely help you.
Now coming to the fragrance, it smells like the Lush lip scrub in Bubblegum flavor. I love the smell, I feel like licking my lips because of the bubblegummy scent 😛 The staying power is pretty decent, 4-5 hours with meals and after that, it turns into a lighter shade, but does not fade away completely. At the end of the day, you need to wipe it off with a makeup remover. Overall, I am very happy with the shade and the lipstick, though I find it expensive, but the best part is that it’s paraben free. The lipstick, quality wise, can be compared to many high-end brands like Lancome and MAC. So, if you really like the shade, go for it. You can find similar shades in brands like Revlon, Maybelline, L’Oreal, etc., good for fall season.
