As I have a full time job, I usually prefer my daily wear make up which is not heavy at all, make me look fresh whole day, doesn’t sort of need refreshes, and above all, very quick and easy to be applied every morning.
My make-up routine generally for office days in the morning is; moisturizing my face, putting a compact for finishing the face, putting eyeliner and kohl and finally putting the lipstick. If I am using a tinted moisturizer, then I won’t use the compact since it already finishes up my face.
I had just finished a tinted moisturizer of Nivea from their British range which had suited me a lot (I so wish I could get it in India). I was not able to find a good tinted moisturizer, so I thought of buying a creamy compact instead since winters are approaching. I went to the Inglot store in Select City and got what I was exactly looking for. Read further to know how the product is.
The packaging of the compact is in a black fine box. It comes with a good mirror, a nice sponge and the product is covered with a thin plastic sheet to save it from any impurity before use. I found the packing to be nice, no-fuss and handy, easy to carry anywhere.
As I said before, this compact is not a usual powdery compact, it’s a creamy textured compact. This means, its texture is a little similar to cream foundations/mousses, but the big difference is that the finish of this is a fine powdery effect.
Its not at all heavy like foundations, it gives a very light powdered effect on face, however, when you put it, it glides on easily because of the creamy texture. Another good thing about such creamy compacts is that they are good for most skin types of dry, combination as well as oily because of their texture. You can use it daily for work without any fuss.
(Disclaimer- Please note, it contains hydrogenated vegetable oil as 1 of the ingredients. Please don’t use it if it doesn’t suit your skin.)
The price is INR 845 for 8gms of product. It’s definitely higher than any drug store brand, but probably not so expensive for slightly high-end brand of make-up. I found it quite alright as per the product.
I have got it from the stand alone store of Inglot at Select city. I am quite sure that the availability of Inglot is no more an issue across the country since it has opened various stores in shopping malls.
Another thing that I was quite impressed about was its multiple shade options in the compact category. It had at least 9-12 color shades which were suitable for medium to wheat-ish complexions as per the Indian complexions. I am sure most of you will definitely find your shade in this range.
I have been using the compact for last one week now on a daily basis, so I thought I was ready for this review. These days it has become my go to compact for daily use after moisturizing my face.
Do I Recommend Inglot Cream Powder?:
Yes, it’s a must try for girls who go out for work everyday and need a quick, no-fuss and non-heavy look for the morning.
