It took no time for Korean brands to set their feet in Indian Beauty market. Innisfree being first of them obviously got the widest reach and brand awareness. These brands own a variety of innovative products which get worldwide fame and such is a product “cushion foundation,” where your liquid foundation is filled in a small sponge. I recently bought Innisfree’s Long Wear Cushion Foundation and would love to share my review with you all.
Case- INR 600
Refill- INR 900
Applicator- INR 150
A long-lasting coverage cushion containing Jeju volcanic powder that helps keep your skin refreshed and bright for a long time.
My Experience with Innisfree Long Wear Cushion SPF 50+ PA+++:
This product is completely customisable as per one’s own needs. Innisfree has over 20 designs of this compact cases which comes in bright/pastel shades with trendy designs. So basically, you can choose how your product will look like, which is a big plus point. I chose a bright yellow case with white polka dots on it. Also, for the applicator there are 3 different types – I picked the one which is air puff, which is blue in color. The best part is the case that comes with a mirror inside which is big enough and very clear. Overall, this compact as a whole is travel friendly.
This cushion foundation is runny in consistency – it comes soaked in a sponge which is called cushion. You have to apply it using a foundation brush or applicator puff which is available separately. I use it with my Air Puff and Ere Perez vegan foundation brush. With applicator, I have to blend it a lot of times to get the perfect texture. I bought this in shade N27. I love it because it is lightweight and does not clog my pores or make me feel caked at all. I was looking for a good BB cream as it is summers and does not wanted to use heavy foundation on my skin, so I went ahead and purchased this one.
This is a long-wear foundation, which gives perfect coverage and yet provides a natural look. I have created many “No Makeup, Makeup Looks” with this one. I have used my Innisfree No sebum Mineral powder to keep this in place.
One thing that I don’t like is that it is difficult to match dusky skin tones, and may look whitish when applied, but after some time, it oxidizes and blends well with my skin tone.
In a nutshell, I like this product and will use this regularly this season.
