My Experience with Jane Iredale Just Kissed Tinted Lip Plumper Paris:
I have earlier used Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip Plumper in Tokyo and Montreal. This time, I picked up the shade “Paris,” which is a sheer, port wine-coloured shade. It’s a beautiful shade and I personally like and prefer wine-coloured lip colours. This shade gives a sheer wine stain to my pigmented lips, very similar to the stain one gets after drinking wine or eating aubergine-coloured grapes.
It comes packaged in a chrome-coloured, slim shaped, lipstick bullet with a golden ring in the centre. This lipstick bullet is then packaged in a white-coloured cardboard box. The packaging is very dainty and definitely travel friendly. The texture of this lip colour is soft and smooth, applies smoothly, does not tug or pull.
It’s a sheer shade which gives sheer to medium coverage. Three swipes are required to give medium to opaque finish to my pigmented lips. This lip colour helps in keeping my lips hydrated and clears away dead skin and cells. As far as the plumping effect is concerned, it is very mild. My lips do look fuller, but do not plump up that much. After applying this lip colour, there is a mild tingling sensation which lasts for a few seconds.
This shade is mildly pigmented. Lasting power is three hours without any food or water. Once I start eating or drinking, the fading process starts. It completely wears off, after having snacks or food. This lip product keeps my lips hydrated while it’s on the lips. It does not dry or irritate my sensitive lips.
I have been using Jane Iredale Lip Plumper quite often and I would like to share with you all what I observed. When my lips are normal, I have no issues using this lip plumper. However, when my lips become sensitive and tend to become very dry and patchy especially during winters, this lip plumper does not help much. In fact, I avoid using this lip plumper during those days and if I feel the need to wear this lip plumper, I make it sure to first exfoliate my lips.
This beautiful wine colour shade can be worn on normal days, for evening outings and on special occasions.
