Body Cream Review : Johnson 24 hour Moisture Soft Cream

I hope you all are having a great winter. Can you believe it’s 2012 already?? Time has a way with flying I tell you. I’ve been so happy with this year. So thankful for a lot of things, EMBB being one of them. It’s so great to explore this new world and meet all kinds of amazing people who don’t think you’re crazy just because you need to have a new perfume bottle even though you already have like 20. Its been a good year. Now to come to today’s review. It’s one of my skincare staples. It’s the Johnson 24 hour Moisture Soft Cream.
Claims:
Johnson 24 hour Moisture Soft Cream with Shea butter, gently delivers 24 hour hydration to help stop the 3 signs of dryness to:
1. Reduce skin tightness
2. Reduce skin flakiness
3. Refresh dull looking skin

My mother got this so I don’t know. I checked online but the pot version isn’t to be found anywhere. I just saw the bottle. Wonder why that is. HERE is the bottle version.

Easily available at all supermarkets and pharmacies.
My thoughts on Johnson 24 hour Moisture Soft Cream:
I’ve been using this cream for around two months now and I absolutely love it. It’s so soft, light, has this amazing smell and just melts into my skin. It soothes and moisturizes my skin all day long. Their 24 hour moisture claim is pretty false since I find I have to re-apply it in the evening. Then again, I didn’t really expect it to be true. Apart from that I have everything a woman needs from a body cream from this little pot.
Clearly I love it.
At least that’s what I thought till December rolled around. Ladies, it’s not that this cream doesn’t work, it does. Just not for those harsh and cold winds. For those months you would be better off with something heavier and more moisturizing. This doesn’t do you much good in this weather. And I thought I had found the perfect cream. Shame.
However on the brighter side of things, I love its smell. If you’ve ever smelled a bay( which most of us have) you’ll know there is this sweet almost smoothing smell they have. Well this smell reminds me of them. Babies. Although this might also have to do with the fact that when I was a toddler my mother used a lot of Johnson products on me and my little brother. Whichever the case is the smell is amazing. However for people not particularly fond of scents this one fades after about 20 minutes of applying it. Also it doesn’t grease up my hands and feet and that is a big plus 😀 .
On the other hand what I don’t like is the fact that I have finished this up so quickly. :-(. Not even a month has gone and I have emptied the pot. This might be due to the fact it’s so light. However because of its price I wouldn’t mind buying this every month.
I’ll summarize the pros and cons for you all.
Whats to LOVE about Johnson 24 hour Moisture Soft Cream:
1. Soft as butter. Melts into your skin like it too.
2. Provides moisturizing throughout the day.
3. Has a faint baby-like scent. Fades after about 20 minutes
4. Keeps my skin healthy and glowing.
5. Easily available and cheap.
6. Non- greasy.
Whats NOT to love about Johnson 24 hour Moisture Soft Cream:
1. Works only in the comparatively calmer months of winter.
2. Even though it claims to be 24 hour moisturizing I find myself applying it again at night. Not that I expected the cream to live upto this claim.
3. Finishes quickly. Though for the price I shouldn’t complain. Took around a month to finish that up.
Final verdict :
Not a bad product. Wouldn’t buy it again though. But ask me sometime in march.

Hi, my name is Fitrie, I’m from Jakarta, Indonesia. I used to use this cream, i love it so much, made my skin really soft. It was my brother who introduced me the cream and also the lotion. He worked in Bahrain before but he came back in 2009. Last time he brought me six pot but it’s been a long time ago and it’s finished. I’ve been looking for this product in Jakarta but i didn’t find it. Could you help me please how i could get this product again (where to buy online and if it is possible to deliver to Jakarta).

Where is your position exactly? can we find it in the duty free stores in Dubai airport? I have a friend who will come back to Jakarta from Germany, passing by Dubai. I hope he could find it there.

I LOVE THIS STUFF. Being an American living in Egypt — the drug store owner recommended this. It is awesome. I do NOT have to re-apply it more than once a day. I guess it depends on your skin… this stuff is the BEST.

yes…i also love this cream…nice smell and very soft to use on skin. very affordable price. i’m using this cream , when i was working in Saudi. this cream don’t have in Malaysian market, now i ask my friend to bought it from Saudi when they came for vacation.
