Today I’ll be sharing a lipstick from Jordana in the shade Pink Lemonade. I love the name so much! 🙂 Let us get to the review.

My experience with Jordana Lipstick in 169 Pink Lemonade:

Packaging: Jordana lipsticks come in silver plastic packaging with the details written in black. The shade number and shade name is written on a sticker at the bottom of the lipstick. The cap is transparent showing the colour of the lipstick. The lipstick juts out of the body, hence one has to be careful while closing and opening, so as to not to damage the lipstick.

Colour: The colour when swatched is a beautiful peachy pink shade- a shade that is gorgeous to look at. It has some coral in it too. I’m a big fan on such colours, and mostly none of them suit my medium skin tone! The colour on my palm and on my lips appears very different! The colour would wash out medium and dark skin tones.

Texture:

I like the texture of this shade. It’s smooth and creamy. Glides on very well without tugging or pulling. It is moisturizing as well. There’s no need of applying a lip balm or gloss with it. It’s very light on the lips.

Pigmentation:

One swipe deposits 70% of the colour. For complete opacity, two swipes are perfect. The colour can be built up easily. On my hand, it looks a beautiful coral-peach-pink. On my lips, it just looks powder pale pink which washes me out completely! I wish it were a little darker. But fair-skinned beauties would rock this shade so well!

Staying Power:

It stays for one and a half hour without meals and much talking 😛 . It starts fading after that. Touch-ups are required every hour or so. Smudges easily.

Smell/Taste:

Same weird chemically smell that Jordana lipsticks have! It doesn’t taste like anything though!

Cons of Jordana Lipstick in 169 Pink Lemonade:

• Won’t suit medium to dark sin tones.
• Low staying power
• Smudges easily
• Weird smell

2/5 for medium to dark skinned beauties.

Final Verdict on Jordana Lipstick in 169 Pink Lemonade:

This can be skipped easily if you have medium to dark skin tone. Give it a try if you have fair skin. It’ll look so pretty I am sure! I love the colour when swatched on my hand! Wish it would have been the same on my lips too! 🙁
