My take on Jovees Himalayan Cherry Cold Cream :
I found this cream at one of the “hidden” places at my home during yearly house cleaning this new year, as you all can see its all most untouched. This cold cream comes in a white and blue plastic tube with a sturdy flip cap that shuts off with a click. The tube is simple yet sturdy and travel-friendly. The consistency of the cream is very thick as you can see in the photo. The smell is exactly the same as that of Boro plus or if I may say; it may be a little more powdery, the smell is quite over powering and gives me an headache.
Let’s talk about the performance. The tube states that this is a moisture-balancing cream that can be used on face and neck. Looking at the thickness, I am sure no one would actually dare to put this stuff on the face and struggle to blend it into the skin!! But for all of you I did it and as expected, it was a huge pain to blend this. My skin felt so oily , so chip-chip eeyuu!!! So definitely skipping this on the face; all the oily and combination skinned beauties stay miles away from this. The only probable use of this cream can be on dry elbow and knees. The cream is definitely nourishing and moisturising but on the extremely heavier side which is not acceptable.
Jovees cold cream is an extremely thick and heavy cream that obviously cannot be used on the face. But yes, it can be a change to all the Boro plus fans!! Otherwise, it’s a clear skip.
Pros of Jovees Himalayan Cherry Cold Cream :
• Travel-friendly packaging.
• Nourishing for extremely dry knees and elbows.
Cons of Jovees Himalayan Cherry Cold Cream:
• Heavy and thick consistency.
• Not at all suitable for oily and combination skin.
• Overpowering smell.
• Expensive (as compared to boro plus which has same qualities).
IMBB rating: 1 out of 5
