Summer is in its full swing and I am struggling to keep my skin healthy and tan-free. Recently, I bought a lip balm from Jovees to protect my lips from harsh sun rays. Let’s get into the review and see how it fared for me.

My Experience with Jovees Hydra Lip Care Strawberry:
Jovees Hydra Lip Care Strawberry comes in a simple white cardboard paper packaging. All the details are nicely described on the outer packaging. The packaging contains the ingredient list. It claims to have so many natural ingredients. The lip balm tube is a simple retractable type. The cap closes tightly, thus making it travel-friendly.
The lip balm comes in a bullet packaging. The tube is in sleek cream colour. The lip balm has a strong strawberry candy-like fragrance. I love this scent. It’s so tempting and sweet. So, for me, the fragrance is absolutely non-bothering. It stays for hardly 15- 20 minutes and fades away super quickly.
The bullet is pinkish red in colour. On hand swatches, it looks very light pink as well on my lips. It looks natural and pretty on my lips. It feels buttery smooth and light on the lips. It glides on smoothly all over the lips. It is non-sticky. It has a very sheer pigment which can’t hide the pigmentation on the lips. I wish it were more pigmented because I love its fragrance.
The lip balm also comes with an SPF 10 which good but not sufficient for summer. It also claims to have natural waxes and antioxidants. So, it will also take care of fine lines on the lips. The formula is nice and moisturizing. It keeps my lips hydrated. It healed up my dry and chapped lips. The lasting power is somewhere around 4 hours with drinking. The lip balm does not survive any meal, but my lips do not feel dry even after the lip balm vanishes.
The lip balm is thin long bullet so there is a chance of breakage while using it. I do not open it much while applying it to my lips as lip balm has become too soft in this hot weather. Overall, it is a good product. It can be used as a good base for lipsticks. I am happy with this product as it is something you can apply on a daily basis. It gives a natural look while caring for your lips.
