How are you all? It is raining heavily from last few days. What about your city? Are you monsoon ready? Well I was, until I ran out of my favourite Neutrogena Oil Free Moisturiser. Now, I have to look for a decent day cream that feels light on my skin. There is a small beauty store near my place. Although, it is a small shop but it has a wide range of products. I browsed through a few creams from different brands and was confused with which one to choose? A girl working there suggested me Jovees Sandalwood Protection Day Cream for oil free moisturisation. As its rainy season, SPF 20 sounded ok to me. Also, the word sandalwood tempted me to buy this. Let us see how it worked for my skin. Today, I am going to review Jovees Sandalwood Protection Day Cream with SPF 20.

My Experience with Jovees Sandalwood Protection Day Cream SPF 20:
Jovees Sandalwood Protection Day Cream comes in a white plastic tub pack. I must say the packaging is really good. The tub pack is packed neatly in a small carton box which is sealed in a plastic wrap. The outer carton box contains the product description, ingredient list and claim. The tub pack does not contain any detail, it has just the manufacturing date and price at the bottom. It has a screw open cap with a slight curved transparent cover as you can see in the picture. It looks stylish. There is an inner lid which protects the product from spillage.
The cream is white in colour and has a cream like consistency. The fragrance is not at all of sandalwood. That’s a bummer. It reminds me of some vanishing cream used by my grandmother. The cream is very light in texture. Once massaged over face and neck, it just gets absorbed easily. There was no white cast on my face. It does not clog my pores and feels so light on my skin. My skin felt soft and well moisturised. I had to re-apply it after 3-4 hours. But, I don’t mind re-applying as long as it keeps my skin oil free. It can also be used as a base for makeup.
It claims to suit all skin types but I think dry skin beauties would not like it. It is a decent day cream with SPF 20 for humid monsoon season. It does not help much in clearing the complexion or making it fairer. Oily and combination skinned beauties can give it a try. I am not sure whether its paraben free or not as complete ingredient list is missing. I am sure that it is not herbal because the fragrance definitely has some perfume base.

May be, I will. It is a decent oil free day cream which my skin needs this season.
