Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash
Hi ladies…today Iam reviewing one face wash with that ***fairness claim***- no no don’t think that I got this to enhance my complexion or that I don’t love my dusky complexion. Why I purchased it is due to the reason that this facewash contains citrus(read lemon) extract which is good for oily skin. Anything with lemon or any other citrus fruit extract in the product and I am sold . Read on to know my experience with this face wash.
• Contains lemon extracts that make complexion fair to impart whitening glow.
• Helps exfoliate and cleanse the skin by removing complexion dulling impurities
• Lightens and brightens the skin, making it fairer, radiant and youthful.
• Lemon is known as natural bleach that helps to freshen and lighten skin tone.
• On application, it leaves your skin smooth, refreshed and glowing all day long.
(Lemon: Known as a natural bleach, it lightens and freshens skin)
Moisten face, squeeze a small quantity in the palm of your hand and rub hands together. Massage gently over face, avoiding eye area with a circular motion to work up a rich lather. Wash off with lukewarm water and pat dry. Use as often as required.
Use regularly for a Daily Facial Effect.
Price and quantity:
20ml + 5ml (Free) = 25ml for Rs.15/-
50ml + 15ml (Free) = 65ml for Rs. 50/-

This facewash comes in a tube packaging which is opaque and yellow in colour. The tube is secured with plastic white screw cap which shuts tightly and make this packaging travel friendly one.
This face wash has light creamy consistency and is white in colour with very subtle greenish hue which is barely visible.
Very mild fruity smell…smells like lemon.
My take on Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash
First of all I like the fact that Joy products are so light on pocket and also are so easily available. After trying some of the products from this brand I was not expecting much from this face wash, so without having any big hopes I started using this face wash to clean my face. I thought it is also an average product from this brand but boy I was so wrong, I really am loving this face wash. The first thing is consistency- it is so smooth and spreads easily, it lathers also very well when even a pea size of the face wash is used. I don’t need gallons of water to wash it off…just within 3-4 splashes of water the face wash gets completely washed off from my face leaving no slippery feel or whitish cast behind. It deep cleanses the face without stripping the moisture from face. Post washing my skin feels soft, clean and supple plus not at all drying- full marks as a facewash. But as far as improving glow and lightening of skin tone effect is concerned I don’t feel any improvement in my skin..but girls, who cares? The fab cleaning job it is doing at the price at which it comes, makes it a star product in my eyes.
Pros of Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash
1. Light citrusy smell.
2. Lathers really well.
3. Light creamy texture, easy to work with.
4. Gets removed easily by just 3-4 splashes of water.
5. Gives squeaky clean face
6. Don’t leave behind whitish cast or annoying slippery feel.
7. Dirt cheap and easily available.
8. Travel friendly packaging.
Cons of Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash:
1. No difference in skin tone vis-à-vis claims of brightening and skin lightening.
2. Not suitable for dry skin.
Shall I repurchase Joy Skin Fruits Fairness Face Wash ?
Yes Iam loving it, so I’ll definetly repurchase it.
I am really looking forward to try more products from this brand- may be a face pack this time.
