I am totally addicted to liquid lipsticks these days. Hence, I am trying more and more variety of liquid lipsticks from drugstore brands to the high-end ones. My Experience with Kat Von D Outlaw Everlasting Liquid Lipstick:

This liquid lipstick comes in a black cardboard packaging, which has some really attractive prints in silver. The brand name is embossed in metallic fonts. The outer packaging has the shade name, ingredients list and other details about the product. The cardboard packaging contains a really beautiful liquid lipstick tube inside. The lipstick tube is clear with some intriguing patterns over it. It contains the brand’s tag line and shade name at the bottom. This lipstick has a doe-foot applicator with a wand that’s neither too long nor too short. Overall, the applicator is apt for precise application. The packaging is classy and beautiful.

“Outlaw” is a vivid red shade with neutral undertones. It can be described as a true red color with a complete matte finish. It is bright enough to brighten up a dull day. Not to mention, it brightens up my face instantly. The texture of the lipstick is soft and smooth. The consistency is so thin that it goes on so smoothly and glides easily on the lips like a lip gloss. You have to be extra careful during application because a tiny mistake shows up badly in case of such bright shades. Using the applicator will not give you pretty and clean finish, so it’s better to use a brush.

This lipstick is insanely pigmented and delivers a complete opaque coverage in a single swipe. A little amount is good enough to give an intense colour. The lipstick dries out super quickly in a few seconds. It feels so feathery light and comfortable on the lips. It does not feel dry and stretchy.

This liquid lipstick has no fragrance. It lasted for 7-8 hours on my lips without any meals, but it starts to feel dry after 3 or 4 hours. It fades away unevenly with a full meal. It chips from the inner part of the lips. The lipstick does not transfer or budge at all, but I would say it is not totally waterproof. It stains and transfers a bit when it comes in contact with water. Touch-ups are quite easy with this lipstick.
