Today’s review will be on a primer that I wanted to try for so long. It used to be sold out most of the times, but finally, I managed to get it. Let’s see how it fared for me!

My Experience with Kleancolor Eyeshadow Primer Matte:
This primer comes in a yellowish cream packaging which kind of looks like an hourglass, but longer. It’s hard to describe the packaging, so I won’t try to describe the shape. It comes with a very long handle and a doe-foot applicator.
The doe foot applicator picks up a nice amount of product, which is neither too less nor too much. It’s perfect for doing eye makeup, and you don’t have to dip it again and again to get more product out. The primer looks like a foundation but is thinner in consistency.
The primer feels similar to a light summer lotion when you touch it. It has a powdery floral fragrance to it, which I personally like. The primer has no coverage as such, but it does provide a nice tacky base for the shadows.
I have noticed that the shadows stay well and appear more pigmented when I apply them over this primer. It does cover up some of the darkness on my lids, so I’ll say it gives a very sheer coverage. The eye shadows do stay longer when I use this. The primer extends the wear time by a good 3-4 hours.
One slight drawback is that it isn’t 100% matte. It has a sort of satin finish to it, doesn’t dry up completely. Also, I think that this wouldn’t suit people who have extremely oily lids because it has a lotion like texture, which might crease on very oily lids. It is however, perfect for people with dry lids or normal lids.

- Not matte.
- Might crease on people with extremely oily lids.
