I am not a fan of tinted lip balms but after reading some good reviews about Labello brand and ofcourse my favourite Rasberry flavour, I decided to give this balm a try. Let’s find out more about it.
Care effect: Are you looking for long-lasting care while enjoying a natural touch of colour on your lips?
Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry:
– Provides intensive moisture and vitamins C & E and ProVitamin B5
– Delights your lips with cranberry & raspberry fruit extract
– Provides natural pinkish tint for a smooth and healthy look
Colour and Shine: Labello Vitamin Shake Cranberry & Raspberry gives a natural pinkish tint for a smooth and healthy look.
The packaging is of a traditional twist up lipstick which is very travel friendly and hygienic to use. I never appreciate the pot type packaging at least for lip balms, as every time one need to dip their fingers into it to take the product out. It has a light pink color cap with a white tube which contains the twist up bullet. The brand name and other details are imprinted in blue on the cap whereas the ingredients and other details are written on the cardboard packaging.
The color of the bullet is phenomenal resembling a raspberry milkshake which has a red and pink marble effect on it. On application it has the glossy finish like most of the lip balms. It has a pink tint to it which is almost not visible on my lips, as my lips are quite pigmented. This is a plus for me as I do not prefer pigmented lip balms rather I prefer to go with a moisturising lip color. The consistency is very smooth and glides on lips easily.
Price: QAR 10 for 4.8 g
Shelf life: 12 months
My Experience with Labello Cranberry & Raspberry Vitamin Shake Lip Balm:
It doesn’t have real raspberry scent to it which is a big turn off for me as the main reason of getting attracted to this lip balm was its raspberry flavour. It has a mixed fruity scent may be a combination of cranberry and raspberry but is very pleasant and mild.
It is very lightly tinted and appears transparent on my lips after application. It has a very smooth texture and glides like butter on lips. It also heals slightly chapped lips and is a good choice to wear beneath a matte or drying lipstick. It hydrates the lips for around 5 to 6.
Pros of Labello Cranberry & Raspberry Vitamin Shake Lip Balm:
• Hydrates the lips for decent amount of time.
• Very pleasant fruity scent.
• Twist up bullet packaging makes it travel friendly.
• It is very light on lips.
• Perfect for everyday use.
• Heals the chapped lips.
• Worth the money.
Cons of Labello Cranberry & Raspberry Vitamin Shake Lip Balm:
• Doesn’t have SPF in it.
• Not suitable in summers when sun rays are at a higher intensity.
IMBB Rating: 4/5
Would I Repurchase or Recommend Labello Cranberry & Raspberry Vitamin Shake Lip Balm?
I don’t think that I would repurchase it as it lacks SPF and also has pink tint in it. I would definitely recommend it for those who are more into tinted lip balms.
It’s completely an individual’s choice to buy tinted or clear lip balms. Hydration is the primary job of a lip balm which is done perfectly by this range.
