Hi Ladies,

For a lot of people, Lady Gaga is strange and her outfits are outrageous. For me, she is an artist expressing her choices. Her ways of advertising this perfume caught my attention and I decided to give it a try. A friend was coming down from the US, so I asked her to gift it to me.

Product Description:

Fame is composed in an unusual way; the fragrance does not respect the pyramidal structure of the composition, but uses so-called “push-pull technology” by which the ingredients are mixed to highlight different aspects of each fragrant note at the same time, without any hierarchy.
The fragrance is built on three main accords: dark accord, sensual accord and light accord. The dark accord includes poisonous flower Belladonna and incense, which evolve into the sensual and opulent wave of honey drops, saffron and apricot. A floral veil of Sambac jasmine and tiger orchid embody light and beauty.

The liquid of the perfume is also innovative—it is coloured in black but becomes invisible when it touches the skin. Just like the fame itself: “It’s black like the soul of fame, but invisible once airborne.”

My experience with Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume:

The perfume comes in black liquid that sprays clear and becomes invisible once airborne. The bottle as you can see is unique and classy and you’d know it is Lady Gaga’s without even looking for the brand name. It’s very deep and a dark scent. Fame is not edgy at all. I sniffed  it after spraying and thought it smells very fruity-floral. I fail to understand why someone would want a black liquid that sprays clear but there was a lot of fuss about it. Anyway I sprayed a little extra (by mistake as my mind wandering somewhere else) of it for the first time. Instant reaction was too strong. Slowly, it gave me a headache and I had to change into different clothes and take a bath as the fragrance was way too strong.

The second attempt, I stuck to just a few sprays. Again, very strong and I honestly couldn’t pick up a single note or a fruit or a flower smell that I could describe. I would describe the smell as very oriental and the kind of smell we get in ittar stores. It seems like a bottle which was owned by my great great grandmother and passed on as heirloom.

The lasting power on me was 2 hours. The overall reviews have been very good everywhere but for me, it’s a dud.

My likes about Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume:

• Classy and a very Lady Gaga style bottle.
• Not expensive.

My dislikes about Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume:

• Doesn’t stay for more than 2 hours.
• So strong that I can’t even understand the smell.
• Overrated.

Would I recommend Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume?

No! But the product claims the smell differs from person to person.

Would I re-purchase Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Perfume?

Definitely no!
