9 to 5 range by Lakme got the star status and no doubt they deserve all the love and attention. Am so happy to see that they are adding more colors to the already huge shade range both in the matte and in the crease less crème variants. I picked up 3 shades from the creaseless crème range and today I will be reviewing the shade Brick Blast.

My Experience with Lakme Brick Blast 9 To 5 Crease-less Crème Lipstick:
The lipstick comes in pretty rose gold packaging with an outer paper carton with all the information details. The shade name and number is mentioned at the base but the body is not color coded. The cap is sturdy and shuts with a click so there is no chance of opening when carrying in the makeup pouch. Pretty girly packaging but it would have been awesome if there was a color coded sticker.
The texture of this range is creamy and smooth. There are no shimmers in the shade thankfully. The color does not settle on the lips and gives an even smooth finished look. One swipe is enough to cover pigmented lips; but if you want, you can build up on the pigmentation without looking cakey. The shade can be blotted and worn as a lip stain if you are not fond of creamy juicy lips.
Brick Blast is lovely orange shade with red undertones. I would say it is a very wearable shade of orange and those who want to play with oranges this season must give this a try. It would look great with both Indian and Western outfits. I prefer to keep my eye makeup neutral with this lipstick.
The staying power is not that impressive, mostly because the lipstick is so creamy that it transfers to cup/mugs, spoons etc. With mini meals or drinks the staying power would be 2-3 hours after which it would start fading evenly. I do not mind touching up the lip color, but if you are someone who prefer long staying lipsticks, this one is not for you.

Repurchase – I will not able to finish it up, so I will pick other shades.
