Bringing you one more lipstick review of Lakme Enrich Satin which I purchased along with Lakme Enrich Satin P165. I’m more of a pink and red lips lover but this time I wanted to try a different shade for fun and this turned out to be quite a nice color. Read on to know if this inexpensive lipstick is worth buying or not.
Price and quantity: Rs 260/- for 4.3 g
Shelf life: 24 months from packaging.
Steal the show with an intense, vibrant pout. The added goodness of olive oil and Vitamin E helps keep your lips feeling sating soft.
My take on Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick P163:
Now that you know that Lakme Enrich Satin has introduced 10 new shades to its old range of satin lipsticks, let me directly get to its details.
The packaging is new and trendy. The old dull purple packaging is replaced by a transparent packaging with the lipstick code sticker on the bottom of the lipstick stick. The top of the stick shuts with a click. The packaging is sturdy enough to survive traveling. No name is given for lipstick which makes it difficult to find the desired shade from the stash.
The texture is silky soft and glides easily on lips. It is not as glossy as P165 but neither very matte. The texture is creamy and hydrating which keeps lips moisturized throughout its wear time. Although, it tends to leave behind a strong stain which refuses to go even with a makeup remover.
Talking of the pigmentation, this lipstick is quite pigmented and delivers 80% opacity to lips in the 1st swipe. A second swipe will be required to even out the color on lips. It’s a warm shade lipstick and therefore will suit majorly all skin colors. It’s a plum-like shade if that’s how you put it. The shade varies between pink, purple and violet family. This warm shade is best for winters.
The stay power is quite commendable as against the price paid. It stays on for around 3-4 hours. Post-application, the creamy texture tends to transfer which is a turn-off. Otherwise, it’s a decent lipstick for the little amount charged.
Pros of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick P163:
• P163 is a warm plum like shade
• Attractive transparent packaging
• Not heavy on the pockets
• Silky soft texture
• Decent stay power
• Newly launched
• Contains olive oil and vitamin E
• Mild glossy sheen finish
• Travel friendly
Cons of Lakme Enrich Satin Lipstick P163:
• Transfers post-application.
• Leaves behind a strong stain which doesn’t go with a makeup remover either
• Only shade codes are given which makes it difficult to quickly find the desired shade from the stash of lipsticks.
Will I repurchase or recommend Lakme Enrich Satin lipstick P163?
It’s a nice budget lipstick and I do recommend it to all you beauties. As far as I’m concerned, I have already purchased three shades of the 10 newly launched shades.
