My Experience with Lancome Grandiose Bendable Eyeliner – Noir Mirifique:
Packaging: The liner bottle comes in a cardboard box with all product details. The bottle is long and slender along with the cap…which is the major revolution. The product is quite less considering the price I paid. The cap has some floral detailing and ombre-colored gradient. There is a ball at the hinge of the cap which can be twisted 35 degrees for a sharper application on the eyes. The packaging is quite eye catching and I can guarantee that people would be tempted to ask what is it.
I am completely bowled over by this liner, seriously. I thought this bendable cap to be more of a gimmick, but since the time I have used it, I have high regards and respect for the creator. These days, every other brand comes with something new, but most fail to deliver – this was a real game changer. I got the Noir Mirifique shade as I love my liner to be pitch black. The other shades are matte brun and matte sapphire. The liner needs some shaking before application as the product might settle down into the tube, but I guess, it applies very smoothly and sets within seconds. The liner doesn’t smudge or flake at all and stays put until you remove it. I am very very satisfied with the liner.
Texture and Application: The texture is smooth and creamy along with a very comfortable application with the wand. The tip is made of flexible material, but it does have very soft and mini brush bristles, just at the tip of the felt liner to make the process of creating a winged liner more easy. The liner tip gives a lot of control during application.
Pigmentation and Coverage: Highly pigmented black shade that dries on to a matte finish.
Shade and Finish: This shade “Matte Noir” is the blackest black matte eyeliner I have used in a long time.
Staying Power: I have been out for more than 12 hours on a warm summer day wearing this liner and it stayed put all the time; even the winged flicks don’t smudge.
Is it comfortable to wear? It is very comfortable to wear and doesn’t irritate my sensitive eyes.
Fragrance: No detectable fragrance.
