If I look back at my IMBB journey, I am clearly obsessed with blushes, next to lip products. Making Laura Geller products a part of my makeup collection was a dream since long and it came true this summer. I have already reviewed Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten-Pink Grapefruit and today, I am penning down my opinion about Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in the shade “Pink Buttercream.”
Our famous Baked blush creates a gorgeous flush, no matter the season. Made by Italian artisans, it starts as a cream baked for 24 hours on a terracotta tile then hand-finished—resulting in a smooth, long-wearing formula. Paraben-free, with skin-loving antioxidants Centella Asiatica and White Tea Extracts.
$28, Made in Italy. Available in 10 shades.
How To Use:
Using a blush brush, apply powder on the apples of your cheeks, blending up towards the hair line.
My Experience with Laura Geller Pink Buttercream Blush-n-Brighten:
I am all praise for the packaging, Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in “Pink Buttercream” comes in a matte black case, with half transparent lid and a semi-circular mirror on the inner side of cover. On lifting the cover, inside, you can see a dome-shaped, pretty baked blush. The blush is very lightweight, the packaging is sturdy and Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in Pink Buttercream is travel friendly. Though the mirror is small and not very functional, but can do well with touch-ups. There is no brush included.
Laura Geller Blush-n-Brighten in “Pink Buttercream” is described as a petal pink with golden flecks by Laura Geller. As per my observation, it is precisely a petal pink with darker hues of pink and a hint of peach, with visible golden flecks to create a golden hue. Overall, I love this pretty shade of pink blush. It is ideally pigmented; rich color payoff in one swirl yet not too intense to make a clown out of inexperienced hands. Around two swipes deposit full color intensity. The golden flecks are not too visible except when observed very closely after blending. The blush is super blendable and no specific brush is required for a flawless and streak-free pink glow on apples of cheeks.
The quality of the product is top notch with 6-7 hours longevity on average without primer underneath (just regular foundation). There are no breakouts or clogged pore issues with the product. It doesn’t result in streaky application or accentuate pores.
