Today, I will be talking about L’Occitane Verbena Cooling Hand Cream Gel. I have been using L’occitane products for quite a few years now and I love their hand care products, especially hand creams in winters. So, when I saw this cooling hand cream gel on the shelves, I was curious to know its results. Because a hand cream for summers was something unusual for a person like me who has sweaty palms in summers. Read on to know more details about L’Occitane Verbena Cooling Hand Cream Gel:
Unique gel turns to a matte, powdery finish, reducing perspiration and swelling sensations. Enriched with organic verbena extract and tapioca powder to soothe and absorb, leaving hands feeling dry and cooled. The aroma of verbena, orange, geranium and lemon tree appeals to men and women.
My Experience with L’Occitane Verbena Cooling Hand Cream Gel:
L’Occitane generally keeps the packaging same for all hand care products, but this one was new to me. It came in a sea green plastic tube with silver cap, but unlike regular tubes where you have to unscrew the cap to dispense product, with this one just twist the cap and dispense the product from the centre of the cap.
I like that concept because generally it is slightly uncomfortable to close the cap after dispensing cream on your palm. All details are mentioned on the back of the tube. As I picked up this cream from Japan, all the details are mentioned in Japanese.
The first thing I do when I pick any hand cream is to smell and sniff it. I love fragrances and this smells divine. Another thing which blew me off is that it is completely matte when it gets completely absorbed. I was amazed to see if any hand cream can do this. It dries powdery and matte. Only thing which I felt wasn’t true to its claim is the cooling effect.
It does not impart any cooling effect after application. It does not stop perspiration as well, so I don’t really use it daily. I use it only when I feel my hands are dry or skin is peeling. I won’t repurchase this hand cream again, but I don’t regret buying it either.

Cons of L’Occitane Verbena Cooling Hand Cream Gel:

- Does not impart any cooling effect.
