I was a bit busy for 2-3 weeks and no shopping made me really miss writing on IMBB! This weekend, I had ample amount of time and did some shopping! I was running out of a lot of products and now that I have stocked them, I have time to review all the products I bought and today’s review is about Yves Rocher 2 in 1 Beautifying Hand and Nail Cream. My Experience with Yves Rocher 2 in 1 Beautifying Hand and Nail Cream:
Hand creams are a must in my daily routine. I use them twice a day and considering the fact that they stay on my hands for long, I opted for paraben free products this time. I have had very good results with Yves Rocher and so, I decided to buy a hand cream from the same brand. There were 2 variants and I opted for Hand and nail cream, 2 birds in 1 shot! The cream comes in a tube packaging with a flip cap. The packaging is a crimson colored translucent tube with the green flip cap. The flip cap from Yves Rocher are always very strong and same goes for this. The flip cap shuts with a click and there is no chance for spillage or leakage and thus the product is travel friendly.
The mouth of the cap is smaller, compared to the other hand creams I have tried. The cream is off white in color with a hint of yellow. It smells like arnica and is not very pleasant and a bit strong. The cream is semi thick and has a creamy consistency. The cream is easy to spread and gets absorbed very soon and effectively. There is no greasy residue left behind and product gets absorbed within seconds. After application, the skin is smooth and extremely soft. The hands look well-nourished and hydrated. It provides right moisturization needed for the harsh winters. When applied it provides a light cooling effect on the hands. Considering that the cream is 2 in 1, I have also been using it on my nails and on my cuticle, it does makes the area around the nails hydrated and adds a healthy sheen but other than this, there are no effects on the nails, I am not sure if it does provide results on long run. The cream provides moisturization for more than 6 hours and there is no need for a reapplication but if you wash your hands, you need a reapplication as the hands go dry.
It has been 3 days since I have been using it every day, my hands are definitely smoother and well moisturized but it does get dry if I do not apply the hand cream, so the results are not long lasting. The cream is Paraben free and are made from natural ingredients and this is a plus point. Even in the ingredient list, the second ingredient is glycerin, which is known for several skin benefits, so it is good and as claimed it is 100% botanical glycerin. The cream also adds a subtle glow to your hands which stay for approx. 3-4 hours and then fade away. So overall, the product is a good buy and for now, I am happy with the product. So, summing up:
