Bringing you the review of one more shade from the lip liners by L’Oreal, Intense Plum. I really liked the formulation and hence picked up this gorgeous shade. Read on to know more about the particular shade.

My Experience with L’Oreal Color Riche Lip Liner Couture Intense Plum:

These liner come in wooden pencil format, with a color coded body and a transparent cap. Sadly the cap does not shut with a click, so we have to be a bit careful before carrying it in the makeup pouch. The body being color coded helps to find out from the stash, if you have more than one from the range. The details about the product are embossed on the body with golden color, giving it a glam look. The body of the wooden pencil is corrugated and hence gives a comfortable grip.

The texture of the lip liner is way too creamy. The liner is so pigmented that one stroke deposits enough color to cover pigmentations, if any. It is so creamy that the tip crumbles when the pressure applied is not controlled. It takes a few applications to get the hang of the texture. In spite of being a wooden bodied liner, the texture is exceptionally smooth and creamy.

The shade is a gorgeous dark plum shade and brightens up the face with one stroke. The shade is stunning for lot of age groups and skin tones. Pair it with simple or dramatic makeup and you are sure to turn heads. These liners can also be worn on by itself without feeling dry or stretchy which is an added benefit for a pricey lip liner like this.

The staying power is commendable. With snacking and sipping tea/coffee the shade survived on my lips for more than 5 hours; after that it started to fade evenly. Nothing unique about the shade as it is pretty dupable but again this is a gorgeous shade and a must check out for plum shade lovers. Hypnotic Plum is a close shade but the texture is different and this one is slightly more pink compared to HP by Chambor Orosa.
