How was your Christmas and New Year.  Ours was superb as my hubby’s birthday also falls on December 25th! I baked yummy eggless cake, recipe given by our baking queen, Parita.  Thanks a lot for your help and quick guidance dear 🙂 We all enjoyed Christmas indoors as it was freezing cold with non-stop rain outside 😛 However, my hubby promised to take us out on some other sunny day, yay! Let’s move on to my article which is about my new love, L’Oreal Colour Riche Lip Liner.  It is anti-feathering and anti-ageing which gives definition to lips giving them soft and matte look. Ingredients:

Cyclopentasiloxane • candelilla cera / candelilla wax / cire de candelilla • vp/hexadecene copolymer • cyclotrisiloxane • c13-16 isoparaffin • myristyl lactate • paraffin • cera microcristallina / microcrystalline wax / cire microcristalline • carnauba.

Formulated with ultra-hydrating Omega 3 and protective vitamin E to keep lips moisturized, soft, and supple.Draw a thin line along the edge of your lips, start at the center of the upper lip and work outward.  Made in Germany.

Packaging:

It comes in a beautiful, retractable pen like packaging without a sharpener. The cap color co-ordinates with the lip liner shade.

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner – Eternal Mauve:

Well inspired by IMBB beauty queens, I thought of trying lip liners after eyeliners.  I was eyeing L’Oreal’s mauve shade lip liner since a long time and finally got the chance to get it as I also own mauve and plum shade lipsticks to pair with this lip liner!

Its a beautiful pink shade going towards dark mauve with light shimmer.  However, it has a creamy matte texture which is very soft and smooth on the lips.  One can use it as a lip color as well, as it imparts a pretty pink shade to the lips.  When I need a light shimmery matte look, I usually apply lip liner on the lips.  It goes well with my L’Oreal Vagabond mauve lip color and other plum shades! The best thing is that it does not bleed or transfer when applied on the lips.  However, it has an average staying power of 6-8 hours when applied as a lip color. I love its heavenly smell which remains for an hour or so! However, high price is a bit disappointment for me!

Pros of L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner – Eternal Mauve:

• Beautiful pinkish mauve shade with very light shimmer.
• Contains anti-ageing ingredients.
• Soft, creamy texture keeps lips smooth and hydrated.
• Its matte shade, yet creamy when applied on the lips.
• Does not bleed or transfer.
• It can also be used as a lip color.
• Very light heavenly smell.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Lip Liner – Eternal Mauve:

• Price.
• Average staying power.

Apart from the high price and staying power, I totally love lining my lips with this creamy and soft lip liner.  I am sure you will love it the moment it will touch your lips 🙂
