How are you all? The temperature has lowered down a bit in Kolkata because of rain. I enjoyed the cool waves and rain, a relieve from the summer rashes. So today I am here with a product which became very popular among us and its L’Oreal Paris color Riche Moist matte lipstick in shade Spring Rosette, and yes, the shade is perfect for the springs.

Product Description:– A lipstick that delivers intense moisture while providing a velvet matte finish. L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick’s unique formula contains jojoba oil for unrivaled moisture and comfort along with matte gel technology to create an intense matte look.Velvet matte gel technology is combined with deep pigments and Jojoba oil to give a deep colour pay-off, maintaining ultimate moisture and comfort.

Packaging: The packaging of this lipstick is something to die for, so girly and so posh….Oh my God. The lipstick comes in a stand out golden metallic color bullet body, with a color coded button in the middle of it, which gives it the more dashing look ever. The cap is a click lock one, so no worries of coming it off in your vanity.

My Take on L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick in Spring Rosette:

Color, Texture & Pigmentation: The shade Spring Rosette is a very nice cool toned, matte, deep dusty rose pink shade with fuschia undertones to it and no shimmers . Though it not a complete fuschia shade but has some fuschia or mauvish undertones in it. It will suit every skin tone, from fair to dark. The shade enhances my fair medium complexion, and can be worn anytime with equal elan.

The texture of these lipsticks are powdery matte, smooth and velvetty, the texture gives it a very light feeling on the lips. The lipstick doesn’t lacks the needed moisturisation, even dry lip beauties will not feel any discomfort after wearing it. The finish is truly, lightweight, velvetty matte with no shimmers or sheen.

The pigmentation of this lipstick is superb, the color payoff is really good, 1-2 swipe is enough to cover your lips. This total part like Color, Texture & Pigmentation of this lipstick had satisfied me and gives a reason to rejoice and wear it on daily basis.

Staying Power: This part of this lipstick takes down my reason of rejoicing, it stays on me for 3- 4 hours easily. It has a staining tendency, actually the original creamy lipstick goes off from lips after an hour or so, but leaves behind a strong stain, that fades gradually. Though it is not waterproof yet it doesn’t bleed or transfers easily. It does settles down in the fine lip lines, which can be ignored.

• True to its claims of giving a velvetty matte finishing.
• The shade is a nice cool toned pink
• Suitable for every skin tone
• A very feathery light weight lipstick, doesn’t weighs down lips
• Glides smoothly on lips, without tugging.
• Doesn’t looks cakey on layering.
• Instead of being a powdery matte lipstick, it’s full of moisturisation
• Pigmentation is awesome, one swipe needed to cover both the lips
• Staying power is average to good.
• Doesn’t bleeds of feather.

Cons of L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick in Spring Rosette:

• The price is really an Ouch !
• Expected more from L`Oreal in the staying department
• Can settle in fine lines of lips, so prep your lips with a nice lip balm, before applying it.
• Not waterproof.

Recommendation/ Re-purchase:– Yes, I would recommend everyone to try atleast one shade from this collection, but if you don’t mind paying for more than go for this one also. The shades are really feminine, and makes us feel very special & royal. This time L’Oreal has only concentrated on the packaging and shades, but not on the great quality of the lipcolors. I would like to purchase the other shades also, because I can’t control my greedy eyes.

IMBB Rating: 4.5 / 5. Half marks less for not that satisfying staying power.

Last Words for L’Oreal Paris Color Riche Moist Matte Lipstick in Spring Rosette: Though, the shades collection is very nice in this range, the price is really pocket burning. The staying power is good, but not great for the price and meals in between can even lower it down. The shade is very flattering, pigmentation is superb, with the velvette matte finish. I think it’s a must have lipstick for every women.
