L’Oreal Paris Jardin Pamplemousse Color Riche L’Extraordinaire Mat Review

Rati’s posts on the L’Oreal lip colors were so intriguing that I decided to pick a few for myself. I picked the shades Montiagne Brick, Marias Magenta (reviews coming up), and this one. This shade caught my attention because of the unique name. Read on to know how it fared for me 🙂

My Experience with L’Oreal Paris Jardin Pamplemousse Color Riche L’Extraordinaire Mat:

The packaging is cute and pretty at the same time. The transparent base and the little window gives an idea of the shade as the name is written in a very inconspicuous font. The wand could have been slightly better as the tufts can be slightly disturbing during precise application.

The texture is creamy and glides easily on the lips. There is no sticky or heavy feel to the lips with a single coat. With two coats, the lips might feel a bit heavy but nothing alarming as such. Pigmented lips like me need at least two swipes to cover the pigmentation and bring out the real color.

The shade is a beautiful coral pink which would look great on fair skin tones. An apt shade for the college-going girls as it is a fun happy color that would suit a lot of makeup looks. I pair it with shimmery brown for the eyes and peach for the cheek.

The staying power is low when compared to other matte lip colors. The texture is such that it is unlike the ultra matte lip colors which stay on the lips for a very long time. The color stayed on my lips for 4-5 hours with fading, depending on the food and fluid intake.
