MAC Special Reserve Highlighting Powder ( Rs 1500)
There are two highlighting powders in the MAC Cham Pale Collection – Chez Chez Lame (left), Rose Ole (right)
MAC Chez Chez Lame is a gold highlighting powder is a champagne gold highlighter. The powder does not have any chunky glitter, which might accentuate the pores sometimes. This one is a soft smooth – sheen kinda highlighter. It reminded me of Clinique Fresh Bloom All over texture wise.
MAC Rose Ole Highlighting Powder is a rosy pink base with gold sheen highlighter. It would work great for girls with medium to dusky skintones. I loved the delicate crushes paper kind of look of these highlighting powders. If you don’t have a highlighter in your collection, these definitely deserve some attention.
Mac Nail Laquer Very Important Platinum ( Rs 720)
It’s a gorgeous gorgeous platinum nail paint. I found the nail paint to be on the sheerer side and you would have to apply 2-3 coats to get the real metallic intensity of the colour. A little drawback I found was that as you layer up the coats, the nail paint starts looking a little streaky . You can see the lines of the brush strokes after the nail paint dries.

I’m in 2 minds about the highlighters but I :heart: Vintage selection paint pot. Which one would you recommend Rati? The aqua cream or the paint pot? The aqua cream is more expensive too right?
Ankita, I would pick up aqua cream anyday. Two reasons:
1. It has passed the tests of staying all day long- summer,winter, spring
2. This one is more frosty than the aqua cream. Aqua cream is more wearable ..even for office timing.
This one is good but aqua cream, I would say is better. 🙂

ive seen these highlighting powders used in few youtube makeup videos…they look good but id personally prefer a liquid highlighter 🙂
