MAC Technakohl Liner Graphblack Review
Heyyy ladies! How was your weekend? Who all went shopping? Well, I kind of did! Actually, I had a big burn in my upper hand and my hubby wanted me to stop crying so he played his cards well and took me to a mall. [Making my face smile] I bought a concealer from Mac and while talking to the cute SA (why are all the cute SAs gay? kyu kyu?) He had the softest hands ever… sachhi! So, while talking to him he saw my eyes and my smudged liner and the topic strayed on liners! And then another SA joined in the discussion and after the whole debate he and I tried smolder and this one. And he began telling me about this liner and I made a face like “Here comes another liner!!!”
And then he tried that on me…. honestly, it felt so smooth. He didn’t have to tug me eye to get a sleek line. Later when even I tried I didn’t have to tug my eye… I was taken there itself… It was the ” Technakohl liner/ KAJAL” *I love the way these firangs say Kajal ;)*
TechnaKohl liner is a twist up pencil liner and thank God it is totally retractable. JOMOL- take a note 😉 I tried to read the ingredients list but honestly, I cannot figure out what is what so cannot help you much there. I extensively used MAC TechnaKohl liner for 2 days and so far- this is the best liner I have ever used. I swear! It’s been 2 days and I haven’t even thrown the cover.

I decided to test MAC TechnaKohl Liner Graphblack in Miami heat which was approx 90 degrees Fahrenheit. So I applied it normally as I would do and I had applied my NYX eye primer underneath. I got out of the house at around 3pm and roamed and roamed sometimes indoors but mostly outside. And after I came home after 9pm this is how it looked – and without any touchups.
The technakohl liner on the upper lid was just lightly faded but on the lower lash line it had smudged a bit… but a lot less than my Kat Von D one! I have yet to take technakohl liner out of the house to see if it melts in the heat since it’s so buttery soft but I guess it won’t matter much because this is a twist up pencil and the liner is inside – but then if you want a taut tip then it can easily be kept in the fridge for an hour or so. So far, I didn’t feel the need to do so 😀

After I came home I was super impressed looking in the mirror and hubby was also happy because he always used to ask me – what Kachra are you putting in your eyes? It’s all coming down and these 2 days he didn’t say anything. yayy yayy
So, I tried the water test! I swatched technakohl on my hand and let it set for a few seconds and held my hand under running water. It didn’t budge. Then I rubbed my hand like 5-6 times and it just spread a little – see? So I can wear it in water parks too!!!
Price: You can get it for 14.5 to 16$ depending on the state you are in. I got it for 15.5$
Summing it up!
Pros of MAC TechnaKohl liner Graphblack:
– Blackest black tint
– Super soft so tugging of eyes can be avoided
– get a smooth line easily
– After setting does not budge
– Sweat proof, smudge proof and water proof
– Retractable so not exposed
– Looks so classy 😉
Cons of MAC TechnaKohl liner Graphblack:
– Cost – but it’s MAC so..
– Retractable so some people might have hygiene issues
– Removing it will take a little more effort
So far I am super happy with this and YESSSS I will repurchase it again and take one for my mom too when I meet her!

thats really neat. I havent purchased anything from MAC for myself yet. Maybe the liner is a good place to start. seems cheaper at $15 so am off for a little vacation to the US..might pick this one up.

This liner was my first purchase from MAC and was my favorite too Beenii. I felt the quantity was very less and it got over faster than my Powerpoint engraved pencil 🙁 Otherwise, it did not smudge much for me too :waytogo:
