What I like about MAC Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil:
- Feline is super super super black pencil. I like.
- It doesn’t travel under the eyes even after hours of wearing it. It does smudge but nothing that can’t be controlled using a black eyeshadow .
- Feline eye kohl stayed almost all day long on my waterline. By the end of the day, my waterline was not completely without any kohl. It faded but not completely.In fact, my eye makeup looked pretty decent even after 9 hours.
- It glides on your eyelids like a dream without causing any tugging or pulling.
- The eye pencil didn’t cause any irritation or watering to my eyes.
- You can do smokey eyes within 2 minutes with MAC Feline kohl.
- The pencil is super sleek and can be easily carried anywhere.
- I love pencils that can be sharpened.
What I didn’t like about MAC Feline Kohl Power Eye Pencil
- If you have very watery eyes, this might not stay as long as it stayed on my eyes. I don’t have super watery eyes.
- You can easily go over board with this pencil. It’s a very black creamy pencil so you have to be careful while using it or else you may end up getting raccoon eyes pretty easily.
- You definitely have to set feline eye kohl on your upper lash line or else it would smudge badly. the kohl needs something to hold on.
- If you have oily lids, you definitely must prime your eyelids or there is no way this could stay on your lids.

Now the experiment :
That’s how The MAC Feline Kohl Pencil looked on my eye at almost 9 am in the morning. I have applied the eyeliner on my upper lash line without any base , smudged it a little using a black eyeshadow with a pencil brush. On waterline , I have applied Feline Kohl, smudged it with a clean finger and reapplied the liner on the waterline. The black shadow you see on my lower lash line is not with an eyeshadow, it’s just the feline kohl smudged with my little finger. Curled lashes and applied mascara. On my inner corner is MAC Chromagraphic pencil so that my eyes don’t look too closed.
And that’s how my eyes look at 6 pm .
On my waterline, the feline kohl has almost faded but it’s not completely gone. Since I had not primed my eyes and my lids were getting oily during the day, the eye liner on my upper lash line was getting transferred a little on my upper lid area. I had to wipe it with a tissue twice during the day and it was just fine.
The eye kohl didn’t travel on my under eye area or gave me any raccoon eyes. The best thing was that my eye makeup still looks pretty decent even after so many hours. I did absolutely no touch up during the day.And my chromagraphic pencil has also not faded completely.
I don’t think I can ask for anything more. The fading on waterline can be touched up anytime during the day. .
Not only that, I reached home at 8 : 30 and my eye makeup looks just fine. Soft smudged smokey eyes. If i want to go out now, all I have to do is touch up my mascara a bit and apply kohl on my waterline , put a little shimmery shadow on my inner corner and I’d be done. 🙂

Its looking really soft.. infact I dont see a huge difference between the two.. so it is pretty goo. How do you manage the nice pointy tip on the outer corner when you smudge it??

And Ikku, if you don’t get a pointy tip at the outer corner after you smudged ur liner, you can always cheat.. take a q-tip dipped in cleansing milk and wipe off in a straight line to get the soft winged corner!!! Easy peasy and no sweat!!!!

MAC needs to make this permanent already! It does smudge a lot on me but I can handle that with proper setting 🙂 I like this better than smolder.
