Makeup Revolution London Mono Eyeshadow Scandalous Acid Review

Here’s a quick review of an eyeshadow from the brand Makeup Revolution.  I was kind of expecting it to be a yellow color, but it has bright neon hints. Well, let’s check out more details.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution London Mono Eyeshadow Scandalous Acid:

These eyeshadows come in a cute black case with a transparent lid. The lid shuts with a click and is sturdy enough, so it is travel-friendly. The transparent lid makes it easy to spot the shades in a stash. The shade name and the ingredients are mentioned on the reverse side.

“Acid” appears a neon yellow shade in the pan; however, it is much muted in intensity when swatched. It is quite wearable if you’re comfortable sporting such shades, otherwise this is not for you. Well, I got this to sport it for a look on a “funky day” as a part of my college fest 😀

The texture is really smooth, but a little powdery and gets here and there. It gives a matte finish, but kind of feels chalky and a primer is a must. The color payoff is just average and I feel it could have been better, but considering the neon color, I think it is good enough. Also, I have noticed a bit of fallout here and there since it is a bit powdery, but I’m really not complaining for the price.

Staying power is around 3.5 hours without a primer and using a primer increases the staying power. It fades from the corners and I have a habit of rubbing my eyes. It definitely shouldn’t be touched.
