I have sparse eyebrows at the point where my brows start and I personally feel like they need a little definition. I have always preferred my Anastasia Brow Wiz, but I don’t mind trying new ones. So, here is an eyebrow pencil from Marc Jacobs. The shade I picked up was “Medium Brown.”

My Experience with Marc Jacobs Brow Wow Defining Longwear Eyebrow Pencil Medium Brown:
Like Anastasia Brow Wiz, this Marc Jacobs eyebrow pencil also comes in a retractable pencil form and has spoolie on one end and the product on the other. The tube is a silver tube with product name and brand name printed on it.
I don’t like this product at all – I love my Anastasia Brow Wiz and comparatively, even Dior works much better than this one by Marc Jacobs.
This Marc Jacobs eyebrow pencil adds definition and looks natural. It seriously is hard to work with and it will test a lot of your patience. I don’t need to much definition because I have thick black brows, but at the beginning where the brows start, the hair is a bit scant, and that’s where I use it.
I picked up “Medium Brown” which I think is not a good match for me (it’s actually hard to choose shades online), but still I use it to give my brows a soft and slightly gradient natural look. I generally run spoolie through to give my brows some definition, then run the pencil slightly through the areas I need some definition. The product is quite dry and feels harsh against the skin and actually needs effort to put it in place.
It’s not too harsh but it’s still hard than other eyebrow pencils that I have used so far. I like the fact that it’s long lasting and I get a full day’s wear out of it. Overall, I like the fact that it looks very natural, but I hate that it’s harsh on my skin and needs a lot of time and effort to settle in place.
