Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder – Sand Beige Review

Hello ladies,
Only after starting writing for IMBB I noticed that I am inclined more toward Maybelline products. I trust the brand all because of their good quality and affordable price. I should declare myself one of their happy and loyal customers! I am someone who likes to keep my base makeup simple, so I generally prefer tinted moisturizer, powder, or BB cream rather than foundation for daily use. I like bare skin makeup, and when I heard liquid powders transform from liquid to powder for the perfect bare skin finish, I knew it will be of my liking. When I found it in Maybelline, nothing could stop me from getting it.

My Experience with Maybelline White Superfresh Liquid Powder – Sand Beige:

Packaging: This liquid powder comes in a cute little tube with a squeeze nozzle. The white and blue combination gives a classy look to the packaging. The semi-transparent twist-up cap makes the product look more elegant and glass-like. The shade name is mentioned in the front while all other information is listed at the back of the tube. While shaking the product, you could hear and feel an object moving inside it; probably that is used to mix up the liquid inside. Its sleek packaging makes it so travel friendly.

Texture: This liquid powder has a unique powder-in-water formula unlike most of the foundations or BB creams that contain oil. It is very liquid(y) and runny. If not shaken well, a water-like substance is dispensed rather than the product with its actual texture. The product can be dispensed effortlessly; however, it spills a little as the liquid powder is very watery, and it is really hard to control the amount of the product to be dispensed. The best part of this formulation is that it can be spread evenly and uniformly on the face with minimum effort. It works well with fingertips and not with a makeup brush or sponge.

Performance: It is a light-coverage watery foundation that provides excellent UV protection with SPF 50 PA+++ and a fresh, matte, powdery finish. It gives a natural, even complexion without being cakey and sticky. It absorbs and blends into the skin seamlessly. It dries up quickly, so it needs to be blended in no time. It feels so light on the skin. This is a great daytime and daily foundation. Its 4-in-1 formulation of powder, liquid foundation, moisturizer, and sunscreen helps in protecting the skin against dullness due to pollution, oiliness due to humidity, and tanning due to exposure to the sun. Two drops are just enough to give the natural look. It does not cover up significant hyperpigmentation and acne scars. A light-hand minimal application works well for this product, because when layered on, it gets flaky. No touch-up is required throughout the day as it hydrates and controls oil, keeping your skin feeling fresh from day to night. It is ideal for oily and combination skin. It does not dry out the skin either. As claimed, my skin felt soft, smooth, and moisturized, and my fine lines looked minimized. I took one tone fairer shade than my natural skin tone as it oxidizes. Its staying power is not that great. It stayed on for only 4–5 hours, but it lasted a little longer when topped off with a loose powder. It is such a mess-free product to be carried around. Overall, it is a wonderful product that gives a flawless finish effortlessly.
