Milani Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow: Green Fortune
Hello beautiful ladies,

Today, I will show you girls a product from Milani. I am in love with this product especially for the way it looks. I am talking about an eye shadow from Milani and it is from their baked eye shadow collection. Milani has 2 kinds of baked eye shadows, marble and metallic. The one I have is from their marble range and it is called Green Fortune.
Product quantity:

0.05 ounces / 1.5 grams
Price:
$6.99
Packaging:
The eye shadow comes in a round pack with a silver base and a transparent lid. The lid is made of hard plastic which is sturdy enough to protect it from breakage. This eye shadow comes with a small applicator which is different from others in its shape. To fit the applicator in the round packaging, the brush provided is curved. It’s a dual sided brush with a sponge applicator on one side and a normal brush on the other.
Ingredients:
Talc, Calcium Aluminum Borosilicate, Dimethicone, Octyldodecyl Stearoyl Stearate, Silica, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Polysorbate 20, Magnesium Aluminum Silicate, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Dehydroacetate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Acrylamide/Sodium Acryloyldimethyltaurate Copolymer, Cetearyl Ethylhexanoate, Sorbitan Stearate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Isohexadecane, Polysorbate 80 +/- May Contain: Iron Oxides (CI 77492, CI 77491, CI 77499), Mica (CI 77019), Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Ferric Ferrocyanide (CI 77510), Blue 1 Lake (CI 42090), Yellow 5 Lake (CI 19140), Carmine (CI 75470), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Chromium Oxide Greens (CI 77288), Chromium Hydroxide Green (CI 77289).
Product Description:
Captivating eye shadow powder that features multiple infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Complimentary shades swirled together to create one unique color dimension. All of these gorgeous combinations are designed to be used Wet or Dry.
How to Use:
Use Dry for a silky smooth application of luminous color. Use Wet for a longer lasting more intense color effect. Deeper tones work beautifully as an eyeliner.
My take on the Milani Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow Green Fortune :
Being a marble eye shadow, green fortune is a mixture of few different colors. The basic color is a pretty shade of light green which is marbleized with pink, little blue and another shade of green. It looks beautiful in the packaging, and I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. Green fortune is a shimmery shade but does not look awkward on the lids. The reason for this is soft green color it gives to the lids. If you swipe the color once, you will get a very soft green with lots of shimmer. I am not a huge fan of shimmers, but I must say that this color is an exception.
The color can be used both dry and wet. If used dry, the pigmentation is not so good, but once used wet, the pigmentation improves. Although it’s more pigmented when used wet, I like to use it dry. While using it in dry form care should be taken to avoid the shimmers getting all over the face. The applicator provided with the shadow is of no use for me, especially due to its shape. It does look cute but it is difficult to use such an applicator.
Pros of Milani Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow Green Fortune :
• Looks beautiful in the pan.
• Easy to blend.
• Average staying power when dry, but it improves if used wet.
• A very subtle green, gives a soft look to the eyes.
Cons of Milani Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow Green Fortune :
• Applicator provided is useless.
• Not available in India (but similar products are available in other brand).
• Shimmer fallout
Would I buy Milani Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow Green Fortune again?
This one is enough for me and there are only 3-4 color options available so I may not buy it again, but after buying this I have started loving the marbleized concept, so I may buy other similar kind of shadows in some other brand.
Do I recommend Milani Marbleized Baked Eyeshadow Green Fortune ?
If the price is fine for you, you should try it, but it’s not one of the products which is a must-have according to me.
