I am back with the review of my most-loved makeup product, which is a pencil eyeliner. Although, I am a big fan of gel eyeliners, still a new shade in pencil liners can never stop me from buying them. This time, I bought the Milani metallic eyeliner in Aqua, my first purchase from this brand.
Product Description:
Extremely smooth eye pencil with the application and feel of a liquid liner that delivers true color payoff, in a metallic finish with a long-lasting wear.
How To Use:
Draw a line along both bottom and top lash lines from the inner to the outer corner of your eyes. Tip: Remove with eye makeup remover.
Price:
7.99$ originally (on discount online), I got it for 250/- for 1.2 gm.
Shades Available:
Five namely Black, Gold, Silver, Brown and Aqua.
My Take on Milani Liquif Eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil – Aqua:
Milani metallic eyeliner is a super-soft, smooth, highly-pigmented and a long-lasting liner. For me, this is a 3-in-1 product. It gives the effect of a liquid liner, the lasting power of a gel liner and the ease of using a pencil liner. :woot: :victory2:
This product is surely a winner from this brand and I am so happy to get this so cheap. Actually, I was lucky enough to get it through a friend’s blog sale recently. 😉
Shade:
The shade “Aqua” though better known as blue, but this shade is actually a mix of blue and green and more aptly can be called a “turquoise” shade. The metallic finish makes it a perfect party wear kind of shade. This is definitely a beautiful and a very unique color in the pencil liner range.
Texture:
The liner is soft and creamy and really glides like butter on skin. It is highly pigmented, so one swipe gives out a perfect shade. The finish is metallic but there are no visible glitters in the liner, so it can be safely used both on the upper as well as on the waterline. :yes: But the soft and creamy texture makes you to sharpen the pencil after 2 applications only.
Staying Power:
Milani Aqua pencil has an amazing staying capacity of 8 hours easily on my eye lids. It even stays on the waterline for 3 hours and more on me. Although being metallic, still the shine would not fade away even after several hours of application. It sets quickly and does not fade or smudge even after rubbing the eyes. The liner is totally waterproof and rubbing the wet liner also does not move it, though it does fade away a bit. You have to use a makeup remover or a cleanser to remove it completely. :haanji:

Do I Recommend/Will I Repurchase Milani Liquif Eye Metallic Eyeliner Pencil – Aqua?
Yes, this is a unique shade and there is no harm in getting it again. This is a totally recommendable product from this brand. It is really a great pencil with a high metallic finish that would look lovely for the wedding/party makeup look.
In natural light, swiped once (doesn’t it looks like a liquid liner).
