My Experience with Milani Prime Light Strobing Pore Minimizing Face Primer:
Milani Prime light strobing pore and minimizing face primer comes in a flat, sleek, white plastic tube packaging. The tube comes with a screw on cap which closes tightly with a click. The front of the tube specifies the name “Milani Prime Light.” The tube has beautiful polka dots graphics on it. The ingredients list is mentioned on back of the tube. The tube has small nozzle for dispensing the product. Overall, the packaging is very sleek, light weight and travel friendly. The tube hold 1 fl oz of primer which is less compared to other drugstore primers which we can get at the same price.
The first ingredient on the primer is water followed by dimethicone, so the texture of the primer is liquidly and gel like. Most hydrating primers out there do not have silicon in them which causes the foundation to slip. However, this primer has both water and silicon which helps the foundation to stick to the primer. The primer has tiny specks of glitter. Even though the primer has glitter in it, it doesn’t show on the skin.
This primer applies smoothly on the skin and forms a thin layer under the foundation. The primer gives a dewy healthy glow to the skin. However, the pore minimizing claims of this product are not true. I have combination skin type and have a few pores near my nose and this primer neither minimizes it nor enhances the appearance of it. The primer doesn’t clog my pores and doesn’t cause any breakouts either. Even though the primer is strobing and hydrating, the foundation doesn’t slip or slide. The primer does extend the wear of my foundation.
Overall, I really like this Milani Prime Light Strobing Primer. It gives me a nice, dewy and healthy flawless finish to the skin and prolongs the wear of my foundation.
